is it worth it to promote teens and hardcore galleries or will it generate too much traffic and too little signups?

teens are a dime a dozen and hardcore often gets lost in the mix

It's always better to promote niche sites instead of regular teen and hardcore sites if you want to sell your sponsor. If you advertise a dialer teen and hardcore is fine, too.
