those motherlovers now seem to have strategy to hold the domains when people try to move to another registars. One of my domains is not due to expire till tomorrow, tried to move to another registar, Network solutions denied it cause "it's not a paid status" for them. The question is why the fuck don't they just release it then? Fuck no, they will hold it for several months in hopes people would pay them. Thank fuck it's last bunch of domains I have to move, no more of their shit.

Welcome to it babe..... they fucked me over so long and so bad that I lost my domain to some idiot fucking squatter........... and that fuck wants over $550 from someone to buy it.......... I have the site built, we went thru all the hoops, we did it all, and they fucked us til it expired and sat on it themselves for another 3 months and then let it go and some fool bought it.

So don't be surprised if the same thing happens to you........ I wish I knew how they get by with fucking so many people over like this..........

have last 13 domains to move away from them, looks like only 3 went through, the rest those assholes denied. It's ok, those names are insignifficant to us anyways, so no biggie.
They get by cause bunch of mainstreams have no clue they could get better registar.
Plus their deal with verisign probably saved their asses when they lost domain monopoly.
Fuck them.........

I lost a domain because of a cybersquatter who seems to be... Network Solutions? And they did the same process to me (avoiding transferring, denying payment, bla bla bla, kaboom you are fucked) Weird thing is that nobody tells nothing about the former monopoly

I wasn't the one who went thru NS, it was one of the partners in the site I was running, I go to domainnamesystems.com $15.00 a pop and you have total control over it.

NS put screws to us and it seems everyone else along with us........ we tried for 6 months to get them to transfer owndership, and then we were going to transfer registrars, but first things first............ HAHAHA... looks like either damn way we were screwed.

NS are BITCHES!

They even call me at home to register .net and .org of my domain names... I'm like "I don't care"

the best way to avoid problems I have found is to stay with them ... may be a pain if you have alot of domains with them http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/frown.gif

Used to have lot of domains with them, not anymore. I guess they don't give a crap if they still charge their $70

ns sure suck bigtime - its a suprise they stay in business.

for anyone looking to register i use directnic.com and have no probs.

The best control I have found (i.e. you can change *any* info fast and easy) is at registerfly.com. And they charge $10 but the often have "specials" for existing customers for $9.
Stargateinc.com charges $8 but you can't easily change the person it's registered to.

I use both of them (and I used to use directnic.com but they suck and domainnamesystems but they're too expensive), but I still have some stuck at net sol from back when they had the monopoly. They won't release any of my domains. I am therefore forced to use them for some.
