Why don't people click your sponsors?

Hey All,

I'm just wondering, why don't people click on your sponsors? There are lots of decent adult webmasters out there who spend a fair amount of their time on their website, only to recieve a very low click through rate on sponsors.

If half the people that clicked on the galleries on my TGP also clicked on my sponsors, I'd probably be a rich guy http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif.

I guess once they've jacked off they loose all interest eh?

That is exactly what happends. The trick is not to show too much pink, otherwise they bust a nut and leave.

Well my site mainly consists of links to other peoples galleries, but it does take a fair amount of time to get them submitted.. You'd think people would at least take 2 seconds out of their time to click..

probably a couple of reasons have to do with bad banners and text links - i mean, these surfers have seen all the stock banners and text the sponsors supply. you gotta make your own.

i average 10% of my clicks to my sponsors, and someone on this board is sending out 25 fucking percent to his text links!!!!!!!!

Making my own text links works for me the best. And you can try to put some text under your banners.

about clicks to sponsors this one actually has helped on both adult an non adult sites...

do some simple asp or something so the tekst under the sponsor changes each time page loads!

Then find some cool texts to "cum" along with it!

What makes this work is that if done correct the surfer feels that the message is for them!

I don't believe that stuff about not showing too much pink.... some of my hardcore series galleries that start with the first pic with 2 people clothed and by the 20th pic the guy is busing a nut.. and i get more signups off those kinds of galleries than softcore... it's all how you promote it...

if you just throw a banner on a page and dont have any kind of teasing theme or enticement.. its just like a billboard on a freeway.

set your eyes on your gallery, read it with the mindframe of a surfer, can you feel the hairs around your penis rise? then you've achieved your goal, you can't feel them, then you have to go back a bit and see how to do it.

the point is making them look good, and warming up your surfer without letting him bust a nut.

I've tried to limit the nudity, but when I do that, I often don't get listed or get those mails stating "rejected because of not enough nudity".

Just try to find something in between ...

i make more clicks and more sales using more nudity and hardcore. i've heard all the theories about less pink equals more sales, but it has never been true yet for me.

as far as Problems in your sexlife? goes, i have never done as well asking a question on my links. others may have had different experiences, but in 5 years on the web, questions never clicked as well for me as statements.

The best is making a gallery, and make an AVS site, which is bigger than the actual gallery (about 100-200 pics).

Protect it with a free avs like freenetpass, and drive your visitors to this AVS from your gallery).

I normally drive 15% of my galleries visitors to my avs site...which is pretty good I think.
