Please post all URL's you found setting bookmarks and/or homepages without asking a surfer here and we all will blacklist and delete such cheaters.

I use Opera 5.11 browser to check the sites and trades now: it saves me time because the tricks aren't working....

OMG, that 42adult.com dude is really pushing it ... not only he adds sites to my bookmarks that popup CP toplists and changed my homepage, he also fucking installed a hta file to load everytime my browser loads ...

It disorganizes my original browser-setup and displays his fucking site topsearcher.com/search.htm on the left ...

I got 2 things to say to you:
- don't expect to be paid by searchfuel cos i've informed them about your actions

- watch your sites very closely, cos this dude is pissed !

I've found sites like this when i go around submitting to new tgps. Had my start page and my search page jacked more than a few times. I contacted search fuel one time and believe me - they did not seem very pissed at all.

BTW - I am a complete idiot when I look for this type of code so I can make sure not to return to the site again - what is it I should be looking for in the source code?

Nick, set your Java permissions to Disable or High Security. If you set it to High then when the dick's code tries to load the registry-altering applet you get a permission window asking "Do you want to allow scripts to access Java applets?" Press No and the crap goes to the bit bucket, instead of modifying your registry and hijacking your home and search pages as well as adding favorites.

BTW the pissflaps.com spammer is the same dick as sexslam.com.

This is very annoying, but why don't you simply get Netscape or Opera or anything else which works better and even safer than IE? That's the question for the million dollars jackpot!
On the other hand, even when I don't see these suckers as cheaters, I find them ethically discussable and sometimes is useful to know what are they doing to be prepared for further reprobable behaviours. I mean, if everybody is claiming against that and they follow on such this asshole attitude, they care very little about ethics or good behaviour, it's more like "ha, take this one by the ass!"

This is a script I had created. I noticed that my website was the first on this list...

Here is some Tech Info.

Everything that has a COUNTER.JS is a paid script from Asher. He sells it on his webmaster site.

I have seen that $400.00 script around the webmaster boards for along time now.

I will post my stats on http://www.42adult.com - Real fast out of all the users that the script bookmarks. 7% - 13% will then click a bookmarked link, depending on the entry page and description.

I Do have the code to auto set a homepage, I do not activate this on my sites, I think that is 100% abusive to the user. Adding to favorites is one thing but new homepages really makes the users unhappy, Plus when I edit my own sites I get the same reaction.

MS did release an updateto cure the autobookmark problem, I see the script to be usefull for another year then most users will have updated browsers. Still the newbies click.

Next - In the past message, someone said that I was cheating and they were going to inform some vendor of mine. Interesting, All of my vendors are in my ICQ and all of them like the idea! They will not tell the public but they want the traffic, they want to make a sale, thats how they stay in business. Someone is pulling wool over your eyes if they tell you different.
