Just talking to people that make movies gallerys and got me kind of interested... where do you get movie content from and what is a good sponsor to use? One that gives away movies to use would be good.. anyone else make movie gallerys??

Well, from what I've seen. Most people simply take any VCD or DVD they have at hand and start cutting and recompressing.

Movie galleries will take a hell lot more bandwidth than pic galleries. If you're using free hosting, you'll have to hunt for a free host which accept movies. Most don't and those who do usually suck in some way.

If you're using paid hosting, then get ready for some serious bandwidth fest and wait for the huge bill.

I will throw it on my own free-host so then I get all possbile add clicks to pay for this, where do people get these videos from?

They simply buy them from anywhere which sells VCD or DVD. Of course they'll all be not licenced.

I haven't seen any sites have any problems accepting though.

I hope you know that TGP traffic is very shitty compared to regular traffic or search engine traffic.

My opinion is that TGP traffic converts about 10 times worse than regular traffic. Search engine traffic converts best.

You'll need like 100k in TGP traffic to match 10k in regular traffic.

If you pay for your bandwidth the traffic may not be worth it.

Let's say your movie gallery have 10 movies of 250KB each. That's 2.5 MB per gallery. Let's say you get 10 000 raw hits on that per day. That's 25 GB DAILY in bandwidth!

You can see why most people go for pic galleries instead of movie.

But movie galleries do convert better than pic galleries. Especially if you're promoting a sponsor with lots of movie content.

Mole: You're forgetting one thing... None of the visitors to the gallery is going to download all 10 of those movies (especially if they're just one cut up sequence). Maybe 4-5, so that's 1-1.25megs per visitor. Makes 10-12.5 gigs with 10k hits.

Both of you are right here, and I know tgp traffic is damn shit compaired to anything else, but movie gallerys convert better then pic gallerys. And one sale ($35usd) will pay for 23 gig of bw, sure you will get at lest 1 sale for 25 gig. That is a fuck load of hits but I remember when I got 60k hits from tgp and that didn't get a single sale to shit! But anyway that is beside that point, a few other people said to steal them off other gallerys, but that is fucken copywrite, unless that is just the way it is....

you have many questions that can be answered so easily. go to the link provided and get the email that will answer most of them. I am not going to spam their boards more than it takes to provide you a source for your answers.

do we pay? hell no, that leaves too much room for trouble, so we let IBill take care of these things for us, and they pay every 2 weeks. I did not say 50% recurring, I said 50% per sign up and 50% recurring. We have AVS sites and pay sites, we have e-mail collection programs, free sites, everything you can imagine, as long as it is video. We even have deals set up with major video content providers, like SobeGirl, Cybernet Digital, PhoenixContent, and many others that provide significant discounts for MogulTeam members, so I think it is safe to say that we are reputable.

However, there are those that are afraid of offers made that are better than they have ever heard of before, and that is cool. It is not for everyone, and we really only want people serious about working broadband.
