I deleted the suite18.com thread as people wrongly interpreted the innocent javascript on the page.
I have a good high productivity trade with suite18.com going so anyone who may have deleted a trade because of this mixup please go and signup again.

It was a misinterpration of javascript after i noticed a site that usually send 200 a day sent me 10,000 over a few hours and my hits and outclicks drop like a rock.
Yup guess im the bad guy..
Public flogging will begin tomorrow at noon.

Though id admit i doesnt make sense that Suite18 would cheat, (usually someone who spends good money for these scripts wouldnt risk it) Though it hasnt stoped a few others.
Look at it from my end.
#1 Ton of hits in short time from someone you dont trade alot with
#2 My average surfer clicks dropped drasticly
(Extremely unproductive traffic) To make it drop as much as it did there is no way those hits that came from him was a surfer.
#2 Broken img scr that goes to a page filled with crap that will bring down any computer that dont have an assload of ram.
#3 the script out in the javascript didnt look too good either.
Im willing to settle this matter off the boards but DO NOT make me look like the asshole. Fact is I lost a great deal of traffic to this site.

Dave here again..
Jason please contact me and discuss this like normal people instead of shouting on this board.
It wasn't cheating and will never be, i'm sorry for the lost traffic.
The javascript used is nothing special and nothing was sending fake outhits..all hits came from surfer clicks only..
Making windows crash doesn't take a lot of browser windows though =)))

Dave

Jason,
At first glance I thought it was cheating too. The javascript looked tricky and the effect of a 404 in a subdirectory was rather unique. Something along the lines of that could be a very subtle form of cheating. But in this case it was just something innocent.
If it makes you feel any better a couple of other experienced webmasters pointed that out to me as they thought it was cheating too. It wasn't until I looked into it all closely that I figured what was really happening with the script.
If a site appears to be well established then be very very careful about posting. Try to get some established players to look into what you suspect. I do this myself always before posting about a cheater.
Hopefully the scars of this whole incident are minor and are on the mend http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif.
