I dont have a clue WHAT the uncloseable exit console does, as I did not get the sourcecode of that page...
Some of you are surely clever enough for that...
But I am sure that the uncloseable console fucks a lot of webmasters...

actually my productivity ratios are over 150% across the board... in lamens terms... every user to my sight actually CLICKS on 1.5 links out... the popup is mostly for link trades throughout my other sites and webmasters i personally trade with who know where there hits are coming from me... and toplists site to help keep extra base traffic to send to you.... All traffic sent out of my site is sent through actual CLICKTHROUGHS.... So don't knock it before you try the shit.... any if your just pissed cuz you got deleted... then it's because you didn't send enough hits per day... I get 20+ new traders a day which most to fuck you over.... but I manually work this site daily to ensure all my traffic is productive.... http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

yeah... and if that popup doesn't go to YOUR SITE Or ANY OTHER non personal trade I have going on.... Why should that matter??

Well actually your sites are opened in new browser windows..... the program doesn't execute until the main page is closed....

The put an alert on your opening screen, pop your site up front....
it's timed first is 1.5 min.... plus if you surf the internet you can close that damn window.... it's not completly unclosable.... just have to think....
My theory is if you don't like it then don't trade with me.... If you like the traffic then trade with me.... Make your site so you can't get screwed... quit using your minds to focus on how someone is cheating you and just use it to figure out ways to take advantage of those things..... try img src to my site... see what happens... http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

Well, if you are so convinced you do nothing wrong, why you shy away to post your other domains?
I could help you to get blacklisted all over the place a little faster (I share my blacklist with a bunch of "special" people as you call them). That way you would find out faster who wants to trade with your shit and who not.
Thats seems the way you want to go.

Just looking at this topic, I see another factor that some of us are missing, IF the page is loaded UNDER another website this will let your page get a COMPLETE load and the user wil see all your banners and text. in alot of CJ sites the pages don't hit 10% before a user will X them out... its possible that DEVLIN has a better idea for getting the entire page to load and get a higher quality click thru rate.

What is everyone's problems here?
I would prefer to see one console every 1.5 minutes then 2,3 or more instantly as most of you do.
Think about it for a bit. He's not sending false hits or limiting your sites in any way.
Consoles over your sites - bullshit. He targets new so no code loads and you can fuck the surfers all by yourselves.
The only argument that can honestly be made is this is unethical to surfers. But if anyone here had strict ethics then we wouldn't run CJ sites to start with.
I for one will continue to trade hits.

Problem is that when someone is signing up for your sponsor, he suddenly pops his sponsor to the front, and they sign up there mistakenly. Ive had 2 instances i know of where people thought they joined lolita-tv, but infact had joined another site!

People are really going to listen to what you have to say.
Firstly, popping a window "on top" of a trade does NOT mean in the same window, it means making his new console focussed infront of the trade partners.
2nd, He has an UNFAIR advantage over other trade partners - hence able to send them more hits... for them to compete, they need to introduce the same tactics... then it all gets messy.
Devlin, do not think that you have made some groundbreaking brakethrough my friend.
When i hit the CJ scene, i hit it with all the javascript i know- uncloseable windows (you close it, it opens itself again, and again, and again), fullscreen stuff, popups off the side of the screen, you name it, i have done it.
Its been documented on this board before, that what you doing is classed as cheating - that is why you are on the confirmed cheats board - perhaps you don't care this time, but mud sticks in this business.

And I agree that popping a window over your sponsors page can be bad for business. But for this to occur in Dev's case it would mean that they click on your link from his site, surfed through to your sponsors and then decided at that moment to go back and close Dev's window which is behind everything at that point, and then wait 90 secs at your sponsors page.
Got a question though because I am no great player of CJ. it suits a purpose only. What is considered cheating to you?
Delayed consoles?
Consoles in general?
Blind links maybe?
I do however respect anyone's choice to not trade, it's every webmasters right to choose but no-one's right to say which method is better than another.
Here's a thought after this thread. How about the whole group take a stand against everything that tricks a surfer. No more blind links, no skimming, no lying. What do you think.

Small question: Is the discussed method classed illegal by you because you just don't like it or do you believe that the consoles are part of dev's trades?
I can understand the dislike for putting a console into main rotation because of the unfair advantages (as you said).
I believe however that Devlin is using that code for private trades only which is okay, isn't it?
I ask because this is one area I have lots to learn about. And if anyone wants to hook up at Vegas drop me a line. I'd love to continue this topic in person.

I don't think I've made ground breaking technology... there are still bugs in all my work... But I try to use the mind that I was born with the make my site the most efficent to everyone... the surfers and webmasters... I've been in the business for 4 yrs... and yes... MANY FUCKING webmasters think this is a get rich quick scheme... I know all the tricks... I know all the cheats... I try to make the most out of every surfer I get... Not just blow them away on complete blind links... I skimm the clicks to go to my out.. so 80% of the time the surfer gets to go where he wants.... I spend time advertising my site outside the CJ portion.... cj portion is just a way to let all webmasters that want to take advantage of my traffic to do so.... Shit... I'll just go private again like I have for the past 3yrs.... My cj site actually supports several others in there base traffic so they can get over 100% returns.... People just misuse their minds.... if someone is cheating you some how.... add something to your page that takes advantage of it.... Basically I'm letting everyone in on a lot of little things that can help there websites out big time and if you want to be stubborn and not listen to my points and understand actually how it all works, then it's really your lose... not mine...
and shane... those 2 instances... is that a fault of my site?? and I'm pretty sure the way I run things the surfer won't sign up for the wrong sponser unless they are just clueless.....

You can argue for and against any rule, but i don't have time/can't be bothered.
Its considered cheating in the eyes of the AWI Cheat list, perhaps not elsewhere, but you are not elsewhere (in fact i'd wager that most sites will not tolerate this).
As far as cheating, we would consider:
img srcing/loading in 0 frames, etc, in.cgi
hit bot (analysis of server logs, eg FuckReady.com)
delayed refreshed (setTimout(x,self.focus)) etc.
delayed console popping - ie not using onload or onunload.
uncloseable windows
fullscreen=1 windows
CP
as things that would get you posted on these boards, this is CJ, not quality sites.

with a hitbot. Claimed that the toplist had referrers from the
little.pornports.com domain which is immpossible since it's a frame set
so it must be a bot doing it.

I can understand having some probs with the way I run my site... as either CJ trades consider this to be cheating... for all the reasons stated above... Cool ya know... I told you I could deal with that.... but sending this crap to my domain hosts.... and I'll prolly start getting my sponsers asking me questions now.... which is all cool.... But what is this world coming from?? do i actually deserve this type of shit for what I'm doing?? C'mon now people.... Don't be stupid now....
