OFFSHORECLICKS RIPPED ME OFF

Here's a story about how OFFSHORECLICKS.com ripped me off for about 600 USD. Sorry that I post to all boards, but I think its quite important for all webmasters to reveal the real face of Offshoreclicks. I signed up for this sponsor (cuz i heard it was quite reliable from two other webmasters) on the first days of June. I planned to advertise them on some toplist so i asked them (to make sure i don't break the rules) if it was ok to use them on such sites they said "ok as long as it doesnt have real child porno". Which is of course far from my toplists, they are only limited to "lolita" but don't have anything like 12-14, kidz, preteens, etc in descriptions. I've been honestly sending them enough traffic, most of it they were of course shaving. But I still "earned" about 200 usd for that period. At least their stats were saying so. I didn't know that they send some invoice when the payment goes out so I was just waiting for my wire which I didnt recieve.. Well I thought it's okay and take times.. So i still advertised them for another period hoping for the best. When I found out from my friend that they send an invoice so I emailed them (support@offshoreclicks.com) where's my invoice, where's my money. I didn't get an answer. Then I emailed them again - no answer. Okay, then I asked my friend to email them to check if they are reading email or not. He's got a reply. When he wrote them about me not getting answered. They said "we do not ignore anyone" yeah anyone.. whatever. Then he emailed them "Why don't u answer to webmaster [myname]". Then they said "if he's ignored then his account is terminated". What a lie! First of all, i didnt get any notice of termination, they didn't answer the email and my stats were working fine (and still are) so basically they scammed me by misleading information and kept me disinformated about my account status which is a violation of the business ethics. So, therefore if Offshoreclicks decides to terminate an account they don't let the webmaster know about it and he still thinks everything is just fine. That's how they stole 600 usd from me. Basically if u consider shaving they probably made about 1500$ off that traffic. Dear webmasters, find a better sponsor.

I've been ripped of too.. I was just sending them CJ en TGP traffic. Never got a cheque, never got an answer to e-mails.

Afterall people are allways after the money. I bet your account is still open. So he wants ur traffic, but not pay for it?

He was actually talking about the webmasters account title names on his toplist. They use words like "lolita" which as you know is another reference for CP, however the sites didn't actually contain CP--the webmasters on that toplist just use the word lolita to get more out clicks from surfers.

Kachok regardless if you were paid or not as candid stated they have violated your rights be providing personal details about you to other sponsors. So my advice is call up a lawyer and also a note to the FTC which i will be sending one myself.

This is a common practice among all sponsors.

Maxcash for example even lists their cheaters publicly.

Also, to clear some things up. Offshoreclicks DID NOT share any personal information with us.

When we blacklist cheaters, we blacklist their email address.

Well that cant be true how you gonna blacklist someone with a yahoo email?

I have around 20+ emails so theres no way you could hold me down by email what maxcash shows would be legal its just a name and there is no email nor any actuall address. But not all sponsors have my same email nor does everyone i come in contact with. So if someone put me on that it would be quite useless.

However a small company such as yourself i know for fact even the hint of a privacy violation and FTC would eat you alive. I think you better get that thru your head along with some of these other sponsors who continue shine in the spotlight as they screw more and more webmasters.

All i can say to the people who run shady programs is you play with fire and you get burned. Be shure to ask RJB Telcom what its like to have your assests frozen and your biz put on hold while an investigation is pending against you.

Here's a fun trick if you wanna screw someone over who uses maxcash:
1. Get into a chat room (anywhere).
2. Post a message with the referral code of the person you wanna get cancelled and put on their "spam" list.
3. Take a screen shot.
4. Send it to Alyssa at maxcash.

Done. The person will not get a pay out anymore. In fact, they won't even be shown the "evidence". LMAO. Since the FTC thing they are paranoid.

Well when we talk with other sponsors we collect two things:

Their email address and their full name. We use the info to compare it to people who use similar names.

Also toker. You know NOTHING about running a sponsor program so please stop trying to act like an expert.

All someone from offshoreclicks did was told us what this person did. They did not disclose any other information to us.

Sorry - I got that wrong. Post a URL that leads to a domain where a maxcash banner appears. They will then ban whoever the banner belongs to. There is no need to mention the direct URL to max cash.

I'm pretty sure they did it extra diligently right after the FTC thing to make up for lost sales as webmasters abandoned them in droves. Still - I wouldn't touch 'em with a barge pole!

Perhaps that were just really paranoid about spammers because they're worried that people getting spammed will complain to the FTC.

Who knows. I think they are doing much better in terms of sales from what I have heard.

Maxcash lists their FULL name, CITY, and STATE.

It would not be hard for someone to get the cheater's full address with the information provided by maxcash.

Dont like what i have to say GFY i have never from day one signed up for your program after i saw how you defend any program no matter what they do. Fact is i have never seen you saw anything against any sponsor including the guy who was promoting underage teens viewing porn and hijacking their computer afterwards.

If you want to give my shit out i would at least like to know whats being said about me. I do have that right as well as you sponsors do have a right to tell people why you term them when you owe the money otherwise its called stealing.

Once again you're a jealous webmaster that wants to spread lies. I approved of that software, but I CLEARLY stated that the disclaimer HAD to be changed.

Alex from dialup2 developed his own software that worked the same way. The difference? The disclaimer clearly STATES it's for ADULTS ONLY. I 100% approve of that.
