View Full Version : Shared Blacklist

I just checked one of my sites and noticed that I had at least 15 rule breakers in my trade DB. Got totally pissed by this.
I then got the idea to setup a shared blacklist database where webmaters can check back to see if they have any rule violators or anything in their gallery DB, trade DB or use a cheating sponsor or something.
My idea was that all "members" of the shared blacklist should have a little link on their webmaster page that goes to a info page about the shared blacklist.
It would contain links to all the members and say that fuck with one site and you will be blacklisted from all sites. Would make life a hell of a lot easier for most of us.
How many on this board would be interested in joining such a project?

I think that has been tried before..
can't remember by whom...
unfortunately in my case my blacklist is about 2200 URL's big and there are no explanations behind it..
For the most part the best thign I find is just change your submit url every couple of months, as 90% of the blacklistable galleries are autosubmitted

Not talking about just galleries. But also sponsors, trades etc.
And offcourse you don't need to dickup your entire old blacklist... just submit new entriest when you get them :) and then offcourse give a reason so other webmasters can choose if they follow their rules or not :)
