http://www.spankcity.com/2/end.html

I've noticed a really low out click from this site, went to check it out and noticed this in that end.html

<html>
<head>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT="0; url=http://www.spankcity.com/cgi-bin/es/rdir.cgi">
<script language="javascript">

self.moveTo(0,0);
self.resizeTo(screen.availWidth,screen.availHeight );

</script>
</head>
</html>

Needless to say, I stopped my trade.

Be aware for those who do this and img src'ing. We know when it's being done, you'll get away with it at first, but you will be caught.

But, if you allow sites to open your trades in an exit console, please disregard this post.

It is really sad that the Webmaster of a poorly visited site like "freesmutpics.com" is giving advice to other webmasters.
The reality of the situation is that Anthony is whinning rather than winning.
While freesmutpics is getting 4600/uniques daily, the webmaster is looking to blame others for his misfortune. Wasting time on the bulletin board rather than improving his trades and sending Search Engine traffic to his site.
To group opening random cgi on exit in the same sentence as img src'ing, shows a real ignorance and desperate attempt to slam others.
Any webmaster with even a little experience can see that.
The reason that fresmutpics was getting low returns from spankcity was because I set his ratio to 50 because of inactivity.
The stats from today show:
96 uniques from freesmutpics
144 raw to freesmutpics
-48

Further, had I been contacted rather than slammed on the bulletin board he would have found out that I have an hourly cron that changes where the exit traffic goes, and that it was only sending to random cgi on exit for 3 out of 24 hours a day.
I welcome comments from others about their experience in trading with spankcity.
Bad mouthing sites without foundation hurts not only the reputation of the site being disparaged, but also has a domino effect on those sites who rely on traffic from that site. I have worked hard to get to 65,000 Uniques a day, feeding the site traffic that could have made me money elsewhere.

Bad Dog,

In hindsight after reading the board I see my mistake. Yes, I should have gone to you first, as it was, I was talking to someone at the same time I found the javascript exit window and got carried away.

On every ES site I trade with it is specifically stated that no link is opened in a console. If you have a deal to do this with other sites, than I jumped the gun and posted incorectly.

I apologize.

Btw, 4600 is after I turned back on the console at around 10:00am today, so that number is incorrect.

Anthony and others
I apologize for the tone of my previous response.
It is the first time I had seen this bulletin board and reacted angrily to the post.
I didn't even know there was controversy about opening sites on exit. ( Seemed like a blind link to me.)
After talking to several webmasters and reading other posts here, I have been convinced to keep the exit traffic for my paysite module.

Good evening guys... This is Jeff Smith, from the sites, tinyvirgins.com, dreamchicks.com, girlysexpics.com, youngteenies.com, and virginteenpics.com. Combined doing over 225k a day, luckily not 1 hit was ever being traded with our bud over at spankcity.com!

This guy has been around forever, I will admit that. He is one of the originators of adult free sites. His largest site is most likely tinytitty.com, which is #1 on just about every adult toplist on the face of the planet.

Him stating " I didn't even know there was controversy about opening sites on exit. ( Seemed like a blind link to me.) " is just insane! He knows damn well, that if he sends your site or mine, 5000 EXIT LAUNCHES, there is no way we can survive by sending him 5000 clicks back. I get paid $.005 for my exit traffic, and .04 for my click traffic. YOU KNOW WHY SPANKCITY?!!

Anyway, I am glad I never traded with this guy, lucky for my sites also. I would also like to say best of luck to the sites he was robbing hits from, you guys will bounce back, we wont let these cheaters slow us down.

Bad-Dog, this is not a personal shot to you. Its just that, I dont feel comfortable with you trying to convince my link trade friends that you did not know there was a difference between an exit launch and a click.

I'm sure the "friends" of the notorious "img src" webmaster of xxxvivo.com, have been awaiting your valued opinion on this issue.
The reason you "luckily" had no trades with spankcity as you well know, is because I refused to link up with a "questionable" webmaster even after several documented pleas from you to give you a chance.

My opinion, is, as I stated:
" seems like a blind link to me."
However, due to the concern of others, spank city only opens paysite modules on exit.

My point is this:
The link trade scripts do not operate in a vaccuum. If that were the case, my opinion would be different.

FACT 1
The majority of our visitors are not simply hopping from one link trade script to the next. They are coming from toplists and traditional circle jerk sites also. By the time the average surfer hits your script he is carrying 2 to 5 additional browser-windows with him. The average surfer doesn't know if he is coming or going. He is simply gonna click on what looks good to him on the top browser. If that top browser got there either by exit console or clicking on a thumbnail that never materialized (blind link), It's not gonna matter or affect the "quality" of the traffic. This is true because we are not qualifying or converting these surfers, we are simply hearding them through our sites.

FACT 2
We don't have to make a sale with these surfers, we promise them anything, give them nothing, and pass them on their way.
This is DIFFERENT from click through traffic that you would be sending to a sponsor. This traffic WOULD have less value to a sponsor. Obviously a click on a banner that says "Click here to join a cool site!" has more value than an exit console pop does to that, "cool site."
But your "Blind Link" also has less value to that "cool site."
Your sponsors are not going to pay per click for blind links anymore than they are gonna pay for exit pops.
I know the trading partners with spankcity will see through the transparent attempt by Smitty to disparage the site that refused to trade with him.
Spankcity had a total of ONE drop out from our list as a result of this issue.
spankcity showed 83,000 Uniques yesterday (up 20,000 in the past 2 days.)
Todays Stats after 24 hours
totals at reset:

63247 uniques in
126962 raw out
-63715 amount over 1:1 paid to accounts

Check your stats!
Results are what matters.
IF any of my existing partners doubt my true belief in this, contact me I will discuss a trade for your exit traffic. You don't have to be able to turn horseshit into gold if you are only selling fertilizer in the first place.
Stop taking yourself so seriously!
If you stand by your conviction that exit traffic is shit, send it to me and we will test it out. I will pay full price until I am convinced that it has less value. (i.e. until I can no longer give 2 for 1 to my partners.

Baddog,

Anthony is using UCJ-C. It has traffic quality measures. Your exit traffic caused your traffic quality to be half of all sustainable trades which is what set off alarm bells for anthony.

Exit traffic is worthless and UCJ-C provides the figures to prove it.

Well it seems like I am the only ONE to stop trading with you just thought I would let you know my traffic doubled as well as you say

Results are what matters.
