if my stats say I got 1,000 bookmarked hits, does that mean 1,000 people visited me from bookmarks, or a lot less because each pageview can be several "hits"?

I never understood that bandwith stuff :)

a hit can be unique (one unique person) or raw(person counted more than once).. but i cannot tell since i do not know which stats program you are using

90% of the times bookmarked is considered to be the one with no referrer.

99% that is not even close to the amount of actual bookmarkers. :)
