The guy obviously copied /paste your page. It really sucks but unfortunately there is nothing much we can do about it. I guess thats the problem/advantage with the internet, everyone has access to everything. So many of my sites have been copied this way...usualy I try to contact the webmaster and ask him politely to change his design. Or you can try to scare him and send him a long text about copyright infrigment or something and tell him your lawyer will contact him shortly http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hahhaha yeha i do that. I send out a 10 page infringment letter! Usually they appoloize and take the page off, but sometimes the just ignore it and keep going. LOL

Don't just threaten. Follow through.

Inform him that he is violating your intellectual property and explain that legal action will be taken if he doesn't remove the offending material.

There is something that can be done about it. Just follow it through. I never accept that someone will just steal my hard work. Take em to court if necesarry. Normally if you hound him enough he will give up and remove it.

Well first off most people who do this are 15yr old kids or some idiot who needs to make quick cash to pay for using that 900 dialer they downloaded the previous night from your site.

Now to claim a copyright infringement you must have proof of the design being your work. I recomend the following as an easy solution print copies of all your work upon compleation, stick it all in a nice big envelope, head down to the post office and send it to yourself as registered mail. That way if you ever had to take someone to court you have a sealed and dated documentation as proof.

Do not open the mail leave it sealed only for the courts to open!!!

This advice was given to me by a lawyer and it's a cheep and effective way to protect your hard work.

If somone steals your work their are many things you could do like telling other webmasters about it and contacting their host which always the best solution especially if they are on a free host.

If all else fails try sending a notice from law offices of joe blow stating in a specific time frame if they fail to make changes action will be taken to cover damages and legal costs. Even a fake legal notice will scare most people and get results after all they dont have a clue that joe blow does not exist.

Anyway from what ive seen most smaller CJ sites dont use the same layout for very long and many get recycled by other sites. CJ sites for the most part are not the same as TGP and standard pay sites where you have actual content at stake. This is why there are so many CJ sites poping up also because they can just steal everyones work.
