couple questions........

Firstly, anyone notice anything weird going on with UK/Europe connections? My site is really slow to load with some ISPs and has dropped a load of traffic in the last couple of days. Can anyone load it and tell me if it's mega slow - http://spunkysheets.com

Also, for some inexplicable reason I have had absolutely zero submissions today - nice to have a break, but no good for making up next weeks pages! Re-installed Auto Gallery Pro, it lets me submit, and I have got a couple of other people to submit successfully, but I don't seem to be getting any TGSW submissions - any ideas why this is?

I tried to submit some galleries hosted on 3 different servers, but it failed:
Connection To Server Timed Out

Even a gallery on smutserver, widely acclaimed for its speed and reliability, was declined by that same Error. http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/frown.gif

Sara, check that your DNS servers are working fine for lookups and that your server can make external connections.

I tried submitting a gallery last nite but it failed with a time-out error. I haven't looked at the logs for the specific reason, but there are obviously a few of us in the same boat.

Thanks for your replies, I got onto the technical support of auto gallery pro and they confirmed it is a server problem, hopefully my hosting has sorted it out now and you can submit again with no problems - hopefully :-)

I'm experiencing a similar problwem with the thumbs.to submission (http://www.thumbs.to/submit.html). Maybe part of the same problem?

The quick fix was to uncheck the "verify url" box in the variables admin, but this is a pain as who wants to check galleries that are not there..... once the problem is sorted out it can be checked again. Maybe this will work for your submissions if you are using AGP.
