Free hosts which allows max 300k file size?

I'm looking for free hosts which allows files size up to 300k. It'll be pics only and not movies.

Must also accept TGP traffic.

Spam as much as you want, however, the above criterias are a MUST.

300k? Common man, no free host will allow that. Why the hell you want 300k images anyhow? it will take forever for the surfer o see the pics....

Well, my pics are high resolution and quality. All the pics are 768 pixels in vertical resolution and up to 1024 in horizontal resolution.

A 1024x768 size pic can easily reach 200-250K.
I can probably settle for 250K max size.

This is already compressed at 78% with a JPEG compressor which will generate best quality vs file size.

300K might take long for modem users, but a lot of people are using broadband. Also, when it comes to quality, personally, I wouldn't mind spending some time downloading pics. I'd rather have 10 high quality pics than 100 small and heavily compressed shitty pics.

you dont compress good your photos, i can show you 1024x768 less than 120k in top quality.

try ulead smart saver for compressing them.

Holy shit 300k is huge, no free-host will allow that, only movie free-hosts and there headers and footers are fucken huge!! Most free-hosts are limited to 80k max.
Get a paid host.

it doesn't seem like it'd be worth the freehosts money to allow 300k filesize. they won't make more money on it. after a modem user waits forever to download that image, they're probably outta there thinking this site is totally slow.

my personal (very general) rule of thumb: if it isn't worth putting on paid hosting, it isn't worth the freehost hosting it either. ;)

Well, many of the 1024x768 pics are a lot smaller too. It all depends on the detail level of pics.

If there's not much detailed background and such, there's no problem with 100K file size.

But if the background is a forest or lots of furniture etc. the file size will easily be much bigger.

Note that I don't mind the size of the header and footer ads. Also, I didn't specifically asked for pic only hosts.

I'm satisfied sa long as it's free host and max 250K file size.

I guess I'll have to search for a host myself. 80K is way too small for my pics.

um... what makes your pics so damn special that the surfer wont look at them if they are smaller file size? my pics are always under 60k and ive never had one person complain that the pics were only 72dpi and 400x600. if u want high rez pics on a pay site fine, but geez at least give NORMAL size pics a chance on free, tgp, etc. :D

How would people complain to you anyway? You put your e-mail in your galleries or what?

Pics in my member areas are all 1200 pixels in vertical resolution and up to 1600x1200 in size.

The ones I'm giving away free are 768 pixels.

That's why surfers stick to my sites and they come back for more. With larger monitor size and most people using 1024x768 and broadband, it's about time that the pic size gets bigger too.

We're not in 1996 with 28.8 and 640x480 resolution folks!

For instance, web page designs reflect the higher resolutions. 2-3 years ago, most people would design pages so they'd look good at 640x480, but today, a lot of people are making them to at least 800x600, many go even straight to 1024x768.

Also, I can't see the difference between 20 pics at 50k each and 10 pics at 100k each. They'll both use 1 MB total anyway. In fact, 10 HTTP requests should create less stress on the server than 20 HTTP requests.

Yeah, I know you'd say that most people don't download all the pics. I can tell you that most people will download all if the pics are good quality and in a series.

you should get it around 80kb
