What the hell is this with ibill? 9 refunds just today? out of 10 rebills? Can we say giving away lots of money to surfers?

What is going on with this?

You think thay have a choice if a refund is requested??

I suggest you stop promising the world to the surfers and tell them what they will really find then you might get less refunds. ;)

toker.
I don't promise the surfers the world, its that surfers are used to it by now. And the billing systems blatantly let anyone refund. I wonder if they get an email like?
Hey you were just billed $39.99 for this membership. By the way you can refund by clicking this button.
But don't forget to check out the site for a few days.

if you don't let people refund, they charge back - which costs a fee. also processors with too many chargebacks lose their merchant accounts.

iBill had some big problems a couple weeks ago and surfers couldn’t cancel their membership. Also the webmaster couldn’t cancel the membership for the surfer because that function was disabled. Everybody got charged a full membership. Now they are refunding it.
Did you notice a couple days ago a big number of rebills or conversions to full memberships, bigger than usual?

What sucks is that every customer can ask for a refund no matter why. He just needs to say give me my money back. No matter how long he was a member.

Well that is exactly what i noticed, i noticed like 25 rebills in one day. now i noticed hella refunds.
Is ibill stabilized now?

Yeah it is, it was for a period of a couple of days.
What doesn’t mean that it can’t happen again, LOL

I had to change my biggest sponsor cos of Ibill trobules this and last month. Guess I'll go back to them from next month to see if things have stabilised.

The weird thing is, when ibill has problems on those days exactly i also get chargebacks. 90% of chargebacks are only on those days. Makes me wonder if those are a little way of ibill compensating themselves for downtime.

I think we will see more and more of this, the surfers is just getting smarter and is using the system, they dont give a fuck if the site is realy good , if they know how to get their money back to will do so, period.

You can reduce refunds to a certain extent by giving a clear contact email address, somewhere it's easy to find, and a clear support page, too. There more you can deal with members directly, the lower your refunds go.

Aha this explains why i suddenly had 3 chargebacks in 1 day with a sponsor with whom i only had 1 chargeback in the last 5 months or so.

Yep im sure none of you want to pay all them chargebacks at $20-50 a pop i bet you will be looking for a job a Mc Donalds if that happened.

Let them do what they wish least they might try another site if they feel they still have options in the twisted world of pr0n. If they cancel obviously they dont like what they find so find a better sponsor that retains members better.

Think of it this way if you go to a resturant and the food is burnt or tastes really bad you want to pay for it anyway?

If you trap surfers they will never whip out that card again and the more refunds the less there card will be accepted in the future anyway.
