And what host would you recommend for an online adult store?

I think I would best take a very fast server, do you agree?

As opposed to a really slow server? No matter what line of business your going to do, I hope you don't get a slow server!

Of course not. But I meant "very fast" instead of just "fast".

But back to my question, what host would fit and how much bandwith would I be burning?
It will be a store for the Netherlands and Belgium (maybe some other European countries in the future).

Depends if you are going to provide any pic samples and how much.

How big, as in MB, your entire site will be. How many pages, etc.

Also, depends on how much traffic you plan to get.

There's too much factors involved which we don't know.

That's why i asked: I'm not planning traffic... Traffic comes when it wants (or when I buy it: not going to happen).

I was wondering how much traffic a Netherlands-Belgium adult store would get. When I know this I can start calculating...

And how can I find out how big a site is.
Let's say I go to www.yoursite.com, (http://www.yoursite.com,) is there a way to find out how much MB (or GB) your site is? (Size, not bandwith)

Erm... you seems to be a bit confused or something.

"Traffic comes when it wants"
Well, that's exactly what we don't know, how much traffic your site will get.

It could be 1 guy per day or it could be 10 000 peoples daily. Without an estimate of how much traffic you will get, there's no way to know how much it will use.

There's no way to "estimate" how much traffic you will get either since we won't know how you are going to promote your site. Are you just going to build a site and sit there waiting for people to come to it?

Also, while you are making the site, I guess that you'll have to make the HTML files and all the graphic files on your computer, right?

At least, that the normal way to make a website. You make all the HTML pages and make sure everything works on your computer. Then you upload it to the server.

So, it's very easy to find out how much space your site will take. Simply find out how much your site is taking up on your HDD.

Without FTP or Telnet access to a site, there's no way to know how much HDD space that site is using. Unless of course you set up some kind of program and leech off the entire site and then see how much it takes on your HDD.
