Fucking Maxtor, their drives suck balls. I have had several and everytime the piece of shit will crash and take every damn thing on it with it. I would rather duct tape together 10 10gig Western Digital drives than lose another years worth the work on a motherfucking Maxtor drive.

I have Maxt0r, IBM, and Western drives only had 1 crash none the less and yes it was a Maxt0r http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/tongue.gif

I stopped half way thru the install of FBSD to do other tasks came back and the drive had locked. Other then that never had any problems with any of the three brands and my systems are powered up 24/7 they only go down to reboot. However for price over size and speed im a Western guy.

I just hope Western gets some 100GB drives shipping soon too. Im always needing more space for music and zips become costly. I also reccomend that anyone using IDE should and better have a fast system and plenty of ram to run such a big drive..
