I really am sorry if i upset you earlier with my post/s. They were always meant as a joke. I really did think that anyone reading them would take them as such, and i am sorry if people did not.

You have amazing restraint when it comes to spam, especially with all the dialer threads that were going on. I thought this was clear to everyone reading here, and that my mock slam was so extreme that it could not possibly be taken serious.

To all those people who did not see the funny side of it, i'd like to remind you that Tam never spams, and has never got involved with any of the bickering that there has been - save for trying to stop it.

Tam, i personally, and i am 100% positive that i speak for everyone else reading the board, do not want you to stop reading and posting at AWI.

Tam, what do you say, i'll never make any comment whatsoever about you or to you on the board, if you'll come back and share your knowledge, opinions, and comments with the rest of the AWI community?

and have my reasons but I am going to say a few things.

Richard you already know my thoughts on this as I had commented to you on this before in an email on the continious badgering of Tam.

I think you have displayed what you really are a young power tripping fool. You have alot to learn.

You have lost one of the most solid webmasters that I have ever meet.She treated people with respect and always put her hand out to help other webmasters in need. You have lost one of the best....

richard, i suspect the problem is you treated tam the way men treat each other - and most women don't get this at all.

where another guy would shrug and laugh, and do the same thing back, a woman gets hurt feelings.

i've never been friends with many women - men are easier for me to get along with - but this has been my observation many times over.

Well i read this board daily and it seems like Richard had a lot of spam to look at and looked like the first ones to get blasted are the dialers as they spam the most, we all know this is a non-profit web board. But the best way to stop all the spam is allow a very small signature file at the bottom of each post for example below:

MyDialer (http://www.mydialer.com)
Keep it like 8 characters Max!!


And any other urls used to spam gets the user booted from the board. just my thoughts as i read 10 or so boards daily.

I haven't been here for a few days & I obviously missed something...BUT I agree w/ basschick. Most women don't have the same sense of humor & get much more upset if you say, "your ugly" (or along those lines) where men just laugh it off & say "you're uglier!"
