How to create an account at Terra.es

Ok ... i saw many people here that have problems when it comes to sign up for an account at terra.es
So I will try to make short guide for signing up:

1. Go to www.terra.es (http://www.terra.es) (do not laugh http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif ..is the first step)

2. In the left menu select "Paginas personales" (Personal Pages)

3. Scroll down to the bottom and select "Espacio web Crear/Eliminar" (Web Space Create/Delete)

4. There is a login page... find the "ALTA ONLINE" button.. click it... (something like New Page)

5. Put the data in the fields...
a)- Elige tu ID (identificador)= User ID
b)- Elige tu contraseña = Password
c)- Escribe otra vez tu contraseña = Confirm Password
d)- Pregunta para recordar contraseña = Question in case you forgot password...
e)-Respuesta a la pregunta = The answer for the question... (necesary to see your password). For those who do not understand due to my bad english is something like this: You write a question and an answer to that question...If you forgot the pass they will ask you that question and you must provide the answer you choosed.. ex:
Q: My girlfriend first kiss ?
A: Mike, my best friend.
f)- The rest is gender, birth date, postal code and country
g)- Press "ACEPTAR" (Accept)

6. You will see a page with a bunch of information witch is not important for what we do.... except if you want to use the email adress... but it works bad...many bugs.
So ignore this page or print it for email data.

7. Press back browser button to reach step 4 (press two times usually)
Here put your ID and pass and press "ACEPTAR"

8. You will see a page with 3 buttons:
- Creacion Web Personal (Create personal Web page)
- Elimincion Web Personal (Delete personal page)
- Volver (do not know what it means..heck! i am not spanish http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif )
Press Creacion Web Personal

9. Your page is ready. Remember your page URL.
The ftp details are these:
ftp: ftp.teleline.es
user: your user ID
pass: your password
Usually hapanes not to work if you ftp client has the "passive transfers" option selected. So remember to deselect it in case you cannot conect or cannot upload.

Just in case... Terra is the biggest community in spanish, so big they bought Lycos and other big names both in USA and Europe. Maybe Morphy is the owner and he's trying to get in touch with mortals, but unless he's the owner of Telefonica de España and/or Deutsche Telekomm, I guess he's not spamming. About the no banner, yes, it's true but they get down you page as soon as you get some big traffic, at least that's what I was told, since I never use them.

First i want to clear something out:
1. Even as a joke, i do NOT own terra.es and never did. If i would own terra.es i would drivea fukin' DogeViper instead of my old Renault.

2. Terra.es keeps your pages up for at least one month. Do not be greed and belive that you can expect big profits from a one moth old gallery. That gallery is history. Make new ones every day. If the gallery is up for at least one week the is good enogh. And do not tell me about TheHun&Co who is posting your gallery in a month. Make a special account only for TheHun&Co . He sends you traffic for 1 week then you go to archives and there is little traffic.

3. Many people here helped me in some way or another. I want to help others too. For God sake ! ... we are a community here. If we not help one each other then no one will. And quotealex is right. As far as i see there are 1751 registered members here. Make another thousand for non members. That's 3000 witch is far to little regarding how big is the internet these days.

4. I am not an idiot. Period.

Terra is slower and slower everyday and soon you'll not be able to use it. In this business, you must shut your mouth when you are making big money. That's why you never see any BIG player always on the boards.

There's one dude that's running a "Shnizer Project" on the server and a few others that are using the host as their personal
"storage room" with 1000s of pics in it.

Morphy, sorry, but If You had a bit of brain in Your head and some experience You would never post such know-how into public.
No server in the world can afford to waste so much bandwidth in the long - time run. One and only advantage of terra.es had it was too hard to understand how to create account there. The advantage doesn't exist anymore, because you needed to satisfy your ego.
3000 webmasters is nothing against how internet is big? Jesus yes, but imagine only half of them would post one gallery from terra.es on worldsex each week... Can't imagine how terra could handle it except of massively closing the accounts and/or stopping sign-up options. Currently maximum 100 webmasters have been using terra.es for TGP postings.
I agree that this will result in banning terra in lots of TGPs cause dozens of dumbheads will misuse this info for easy cheating.
