What else was there to do for him? It was a practice examination, so he didn't even need to catch cheaters and such...
I mean, he could've counted imaginary sheep or taken a quick nap, but I don't think what he did was such an awful thing... (ofcourse, leaving the display screen on was rather stupid :D )

I was fired from my job on a friday afternoon because I was caught watching porn at work. Of course, I was uploading pictures that I took myself also.

I didn't need that job anyway. Now I get paid way more for the same thing that I got fired from my chump change job for.

I'd say he deserves what hapenned. Beeing a teacher involves alot of responsabilities and he obviously couldn't respect them. Not only he's been stupid enough to check porn in a room full of kinds, that are under his responsability..., he was stupid enough to not double check and let the projector open.. smart. :P
