Quick question,
I am thinking of buying around 20K a day for 50 days of 404 traffic... this would be pop behind traffic.
This traffic would to my tgp. (clean with trade script)
Will this work or will it be just a waste of time, money and bandwith?

Depends on the price imo. I just tried like 30k of popunder, and 100k of 404 exit. Both did very poor for me. Extremely hard to track the productivty of this sort of traffic unless you make a dedicated page for it. After this experiment, I decided to buy only clickthru traffic from now on. Maybe others have had better luck than me with it.

TGP traffic is just too expensive ... $5-$7.50 per 1,000 is killer!!
I found 2,000,000 unique for $4,500 and
1,000,000 for $2,500
Choker,
How bad was it? Did you see any improvement? If so how much of the traffci stayed?
i never liked the idea of buying traffic
i would check what the sites main traffic sources are if i were you

404 and popunder didb't work for me as well for feeding a TGP. I would say buy skimmed traffic frommature-post or choker
(when the price for 30K was very very cheap it's a nice option of course)

Thanx justsexxx,
Any other ways of feeding traffic other then 404, or tgp traffic?

Well, I buy and sell traffic, and sent most of it too my own buyers. Some of them complained about it. So I stopped buying it. Now I just send them clicked traffic from my tgp. I think the popunder is the worst quality imo. Especially if the site that opens above you sucks. No way the surfer is going to click on you if that site sucks. He's gonna take for granted that yours sucks too I think. And this was "hi-quality" 404, I paid like 5$ per k for it. And no, not any bookmarkers from it that I can tell.

There are exit:D
If I had the choise 404 or tradehits, i would go for the tradehits.
And I will buy them from Choker2, becouse i have heard that he is a onnest guy.
But if you want to try exit, look at my signature

404 traffic is even worse than tgp traffic in my opinion. All that traffic is going to do is make your counter spin and your pocketbook smaller.

Yea, spend the extra money on the clickthrough traffic..
sure you can get 2 000 000 hits for 4500 bux, but I bet it will convert just the same if not worst that 4500 worth of clickthrough traffic , EXCEPT, you are going to pay the bandwidth charges on that 2 000 000 hits instead of a much less number with clickthrough

it works...if you don't use 404 trafficthe 404 traffic is traffic that find what they wasn't looking for....
I bought some 404 to feed a tgp2 (don't ask me why) a few months ago. Didn't really help much.

i would get any source you can , as cheap as possible, and keep at it, and eventually it shows, its tough to get traffic that works,

Za Ha maybe you should try to buy all kinds of traffic. Not 2,000,000 hits but... Buy 10000 exits from cj2 sites - f.e. from Sezxity, buy TGP cliks - f.e. from mature-post.com, buy 404 traffic and just compare your stats. Something that work on one site may not work on the other.
Just my 1 cent.

I am confused, what are you buying? 404 traffic? Pop behind traffic? Pop behind traffic from a 404 page? No matter how you look at it, it doesn't sound like a good deal.
Remember, this is 404 traffic you are dealing with!!!

Hey Choker2,
I visited your site,I could find interesting offert,but...but there are two things I can understand:
Why you accept payments only via Paypal?do you know how many problems there are actualy with Paypal?
http://www.paypalwarning.com/legal_actions/
and there a lot of sites like this...
Why you say:no pop ups canopn, not this, not this....If a buy traffic, then the traffic is mine, and I should be free to do with it what I think better to do.I could accept all this limitations if you guarantee me a good ratio of conversion with my sponsors....;)

I can't speak on his behalf but,
I believe he skims the traffic off his listings, I wouldn't want to send my surfers from my listings to a pop-up hell either. Lowers the quality of MY site and that's not the goal.
If you build your site right then exit traffic is a very good option :)
If you build a crap site clicks / exit / whatever won't work for you.
This is a site I just launched that I'm feeding with a bit of exit (exit hits is not included it in the stats)
http://www.mdue.com/Feeder.jpg
The site is running on it 5th hour and doing 2K+/hour in trade stats now. And didn't even get that many good trades added yet ;)

From my discussions with choker, this is exactly why he places restrictions on what types of sites he'll sell to. Makes sense to me.

Harpo. the posts above are right. I am selling gallery skimmed traffic. The same as what I trade with. No matter who you buy traffic from, the seller is gonna have some sort of restrictions on it. Buy free host 404 traffic, put the surfer thru absolute hell, and webmasters will stop using that free host. Same thing with me man. If I sell traffic to someone who fucks the surfer, other tgps will stop trading and selling me traffic man. Buying traffic has restrictions on what you can do with it, the same as buying content.

Due,
Nice traffic
You said that you bought exit traffic...
Could you say if it was from 404, or from a different source and how much you bought per hour?

No I said it was exit traffic ;)
It was exit from a exit from 1 of my sites.
At that time it the first exit received around 3K-4K / hour. I don't know how much the second exit (that was this site) got since there was no reason to slow down the process even more by adding extra tracking.
I'm selling for prices between $3-$5 CPM depending on how much you buy and for how long a period. And you can have upto a total of 3 consoles in the exit (please note you will not be buying exit from a exit but exit from a normal site)

Do you have a stat page for traffic buyers to follow how many hits are being sent?
