hi this really dosent belong on a adult webmaster board but im looking for cheap labor :D i need a script to display thumbnails based on catagory and when you click on the thumb it will bring you to a page with info on that thumbnail with a larger pic. i have over 200 and it would take me forever to make html pages for them all. no its not porn or anything adult at all they are web page templates. i run a small web design company but we dont have a php or cgi guy yet. i need a script simular to www.4templates.com (http://www.4templates.com) has. im willing to pay $50 for one.. it sholdent be hard to make from what im told.

php &gt; C for a lot of web stuff. have you ever even used it? it seems like a lot of the perl and c homos who spend so much time shitting on PHP might benefit from actually trying it out. my opinion: CGI = SHIT.

PHP = way better for small tasks as what is requested.

C/C++ = faster for larger, more complicated tasks.

php =simple to learn

C++ =takes some time but you get better results

Programming doesn't come cheap bud. Most programmers charge AT LEAST $40 an hour if not more.

The average C++ programmer charges around $100 an hour.

I think Perl rules :D
with C you can write Faster Code
With Perl you can write code Faster :rolleyes:

For big projects, like Web based email systems (ie. Hotmail) C++ is better choice, because OOP :)

C is only good for writing extra small & fast programs and system programming. Like UCJ, R&B4 etc. using C programs to count in & out.

PHP is good, but eating so much memory :)

CGI is alot of diffrent things buddy, i can wright a cgi app in c, but PERL on the other hand is better than PHP, PHP is a PERL rip man, And i have mixed C and php together, but see PHP is nasty......
