How many trades does the average 20k CJ site have?

Is it possible to have too many trades if they are all going well. And how many is too few?

think of it like this, you can have many trades trading
smaller amounts or a few trades trading huge amounts.

I'd prefer fewer/larger trades, easier to keep up with
what each is doing IMO

a 20k site could have 4-5 trades going or 100 active
ones, it all depends

If you have traffic, then I think your imagination is the limit.
You can have as many as your traffic can handle, I think.

I made a big mistake by starting with too many trades... I thought they it would work out but it seems to really slow things down because most of them don't send me any hits back unless I send them like 50 an hour first.

10 good trades should be enough. I find small ones rarely help any.

The first mistake I ever made was adding trades like a madman..

I had a small traffic base and I figured hell why not add tons of trades and they should offset each other...

Needless to ssay that adventure wasnt too successful..:D

I'd say 10 trades, 4 main ones and 6 smaller trades like 50 to 500, best balance to grow..... I've grown a lot of small movieposts and tgps in my time

How are you going to send traffic to your trades to get them going? You have to have traffic going to it to get it off the ground.

1- Do like what other webmasters do: Say ''force me some hits and I'll send you 200-400% back'':D

or

2- Buy exit, popunder, 404, blind hits traffic.

A new site with no traffic to feed will not grow. It's a waste of time. Get some traffic then start the trades.

I agree with Hypo. First make good layout (try different and find which is the best for you), second buy some traffic - exits, click, 404...

wow that lot for a small site, sounds like u need to pick the more productive sites, and give them a better ratio, in other words send more to better producing sites...let the smaller sites work for your traffic...

i got only 14 trades on a stable 30k cj

i got like 40 trades on a 2 k site. Havving too many trades too fast has been a problem for me...especially if they do not return what you send them. I don't think the is such a thing as too many trades but just add and test a few at a time.
