DNS Question

Hi, when i changed hosts with one website, it took 2-3 days to have the DNS changed properly. I was wondering if there was a way to have it changed more quickly than that. Can you just ask the register company to change it right aways, or pay them to change it right away.

i have changed many host, it depends when they add your IP and server name info, prohosters added it the same day therefor only took 24 hrs also i use Directnic for domains, before and i still have some there at slow work solutions- internic~those take about a dam week to get moved, also depends on your new server guy setting up the account.

They got a special til 18th of February to transfer all your domains to them for 11.95 per domain. They're much better than networksolutions.com

As I understand it, when you change any of your DNS details it has to filter through to the rest of the internet which takes about 24-48 hours. So there shouldn't be any way to speed this up.
