In response to what you all think of my site....

First off I am the person in the pictures. Second off, how do you make you photos thumbnails? I knows it by making them smaller links but is there any good way to do??? I have a domain name but, I can't find a good host? I can't afford much so I really don't know where to go with it? Its KirstenWeb.com, I bought it because of those nasty ads. I have had an adult site before but it was so hectic and horrible! This one isn't as bad. I created my first one from scratch with html and taught myself everything. It was pretty sad though. But I am in the process of taking a pretty good course (to start next semester). Which will teach me HTML, JavaScript, CSS. I am looking forward to it.....but anyhow to get back to my point. If anyone could tell me a little more about the thumbnails? A good host? Or how to make money with you adult site-maybe a good affiliate program or something?

An image file might be say 600 pixels wide, and 400 pixels tall - refered to as a 600x400 image.

If you take this image, and scale it down to say 150x100, you will reduce the file size as well as the image size.

Smaller filesize = less data to transfer over the web = faster loading times for your images.

The thumbnails should then link to the full sized pics.

I use adobe photoshop and macromedia fireworks for my graphics work: apparently you can download trial versions from their websites and apply cracks from such sites as http://astalavista.box.sk to enable them as full versions without paying....

Use this bb's search facility to lookup cheap hosts, there have been many topics on it.

Coding HTML by hand in notepad is what i used to do - then i discovered wysiwyg editors such as Macromedia Dreamweaver which are so much faster to use - use it for your pages.

first off, get a copy of thumbsplus (http://www.cerious.com) and it will make thumbs for your pics and made a nifty page if you configure it, too!

prohosters (http://prohosters.com/virtual.html) has some cheap hosting packages, and very cheap bandwidth.

Another good thumbnailer is Arles, I use
it a lot, I have thumbs+ also, but I find
it a bit to bulky (to many options you never use), the way you set up templates can also
be a bit tricky if you are not good at figuring things out (not much help in the docs)
