When sending a hit to a sponcer what is better opening it in a new window or sending the hit in the origional page?

I think your number one question should be how to spell sponser :)

Open the sponser in a new window..
that way if the surfer doesn't like it, he/she closes the window down and your site is still there

Other ppl say, open in the same window to increase the probability of a sell...

"If you use a pay pr click sponsor"

Offshore clicks has no problem with targetting a new window. There are some that have specific rules about that though.

i say open in a new window, but blur it, so it pops behind your site, and when the user closes your site, then they see your sponsers :)

Same window works best, like ads on top of gallery listings on TGP or on top of a CJ2 site or the enter page of a TGP. But if your TGP opens all galleries in a new window then your lower sponsor banners (below the galleries) can go to new window as the surfers are used to that by the time they reach the bottom.

Also if the sponsor opens up their own popups, exit or enter, then its best to open in a new window. Ireally hate sponsors with entry popups though.

Well I think that could be right, because people will close new windows more often the same window

If you're running a CJ type of site..i woudl recommend opening your sponsor in a new page..since that will allow you to keep your surfer to send to other trades...

On a normal site... I would open my sponsor in the same window to improve the chances of the sale...

my 2 cents:)

if you are talking about linking to a sponsor from your free site/tgp gallery page, you should open in the same window. Opening a sponsor in a new window might cause you to get declined.

On your main page of a CJ/TGP, I guess it depends on your own site. If you open gallery/trade links in a new window, might as well do it for a sponsor(one that allows this).

But if you have a site that is all one window, like GreenGuy, etc etc, use the same window. The surfer will be back, anyway.
