Hi guys and girls

This evening Patrick (1000FreeGalleries, FHWL etc) contacted me saying I was hit botting him, first I was like WTF!!! Then I found out he was serious! He then gave me 24 hours to proof my innocence before he would go public on the boards with it.
Well I’m writing you this because I don’t have the time nor do I wish to spend the time replying to such lame accusations. I’ve been trading with Patrick and Marco for well over a year and known Marco for even longer. I find the accusations ridiculous especially when you look at what I have to show you now. This is the message history from ICQ between me and Patrick.
So make what you want of this and pull your trade with me if you think or feel that I’m hit botting you. But I assure you I’m not!
I'm writing this message as I feel I have the right to defend my self before Patrick tries to spoil my rep.

I dunno shit about this, but seems this will be veeeery long thread. But I really cannot understand how can you prove is somebody else fucking up with a bot, so all in all, this looks like a dead end :(

I read only first reply but if he is using ucj then that happens on a regullar basis.
UCJ has some kind of bug in it and you will sometimes get that trade is sending you extra 3-5k (or even more) in very short period, probably just few minutes, but without productivity.
I already had that 3 times with 3 of my trusted trades and it isn't a big deal if you don't have them on ratio trading (then it will send back all not existant traffic, if it is on normal then script will do nothing about it and trade will still be valid).
If he has same problem he will need to wait 24 hours until his stats rotate so he don't see those fake hits any more.

Tim should check why UCJ is doing this since my friend contacted me about same problem last night. My stats were ok, but his ucj stats were saying I was sending 3k extra without productivity.
Well, ucj isn't perfect also.

Also I doubt it is a UCJ error as the ip that kept sending the hits is a server and password protected too, whch is kinda of weird!! And it's based in Russia
Go figure!!

Also if u checkout the url Patrick provided with the screendumps you will see it started sometime around 8 am his server time and kept on going for some hours and I don't even know if it has stopped now as Patrick has gone offline.

Last night while trying to fix this madness!
We got in contact with a nice guy from Prohosters he told us that this was very normal and that he on a daily avr. banned 3-4 ip's and descibed this as a new trend to fuck up ppls sites.

Anyways I've now banned his ip with htaccess and in the router

Do a "egrep" in the server logs for that IP address to see what useragent / browser it is...
it is most likely some offline browser that is trying to leach all the galleries. I have seen that before...

exactly!
thats the point, i even get it sometimes between my own sites,there is nothing to do,it just happens.
if you block 3 ip's the one day,the next day 3 other ones crawl all the stuff from the sites.

but it doenst crawl it goes to my site then it goes to a trade and its an exact trade and it does it 10-15,000 times on each

but his ip has been blocked now

I blocked the IP number now and stuff seems to be getting back to normal again.
He generated more than 120K clicks on my site over the last 16 hours and that is really fucking up my stats big time. :cussing:
It looks like Mike isn't the one doing this himself but everything was pointing at his direction yesterday when i noticed this.

At first i gave him the benefit of the doubt and a chance to find out what was going on. Nevertheless i took this really serious and took immediate action on it but in private on icq. Dont want to be screwing someones name without being sure of it.

Mike i think it wasn't the best idea you had to post that history here on the board.

Still i am not sure who is doing this to me but i am able to block it and get on with my work now.
