I run a Britney Spears non-nude site and although its not adult, many of the principles of adult traffic seem to hold true.
What I'm wondering is the advantages and disadvantages of using a CJ script in comparison to a top referrers script such as TrackYourStats.
I launched my site a few months back and in less than two weeks I peaked at 19,000 uniques/day - I wish I knew how to repeat this. I had host troubles which meant none of my thumbnails loaded this resulted in me losing over 1/2 that traffic.
My site is www.mikejeffs.com/sexybritney (http://www.mikejeffs.com/sexybritney)
I would welcome any constructive criticism, suggestions etc on how to increase traffic.
I've taken the approach of keeping things simple, opposed to having a massive, long page. I figure that if the page is small, it will be easier to direct traffic. Thats why my top20 referrers are shown in 4 places.
In a couple of weeks I want to start work on the site again and try to regain the traffic I once had. The question is, what is the best way to approach this?
Should I keep the same layout - or should I change things? If so - any suggestions as to what people think would work well. I don't use thumbnails anymore, mainly for bandwidth reasons - but if people think it will increase traffic then I have no objection to bringing them back... its just I didn't notice a decrease when I removed them.
Any suggestions are much appreciated http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif
