I hope that this time they will make a statement what's going on because all I know about Telco is from the adult webmasters boards and not from them. I want to know when I'll get my money.

I didn't hear anything.
However.
Telcoweb is a NONE USA based company that has all paper works proving they did not do anything wrong.
I am not owed any money by telcoweb however there is a lot of people that is.
Here is some news for you guys.
FTC can say "it is illegal for you to pay your advertisers"
As far as within USA, I can't say but as far as I know FTC is a consumer orginazation made to protect the USA ccitizens.
Protecting the cunsumer does not mean that Telcoweb cannot pay their advertisers.
FTC cannot force a NONE USA based company to not follow their contracts. Then the NONE USA based company got some pretty BAD lawyers and might consider a replacement.
FTC does not control the world even though they would like too.
And it cannot be considered a criminal charge to pay people according to their contracts, no matter what you say or what they say!
If Telcoweb wanted to pay people they could do so, they might piss off FTC but it does not really matter since:
1: It is not happening in USA
2: FTC is made to protect consumders in USA not to say "you can't send money to this guy because that has absolutely nothing to do with protecting a normal USA citizen"
I agree that FTC is not someone you should be playing games with but do not allow them to play games with you neither.
Some of this information has been approved bye a previous lawyer for the supreeme court in Denmark (highest level in the court system in Denmark)

Thanks for the good luck words people , Many of you know the reason why we have not been posting on this subject let me reiterate it again. Last August some of the people who read this board tried to defraud us and the public by sending some pretty illegal spam telling people they had won a playstation and to click a toll free link. We terminated the spammer , reported it to the correct authorities and also permanantly disconnected the numbers the spam occured on. To cut a long story short 10 Months later one of Telcoweb companies along with LoAd communications received a poorly researched complaint from the FTC suggesting we produced and sent the spam.

BTV industries are now in settlement talks with the FTC and things are going very well indeed , This means that in a few days time this thing is going to be over. We ARE NOT going to discuss this problem on any board until it is completely over. Many people who read this board have been subpoenaed during this investigation and the more we discuss this in public , the more chance there is of YOU PEOPLE LOOSING YOUR MONEY.

Due you are a clueless prick who clearly knows nothing about his business , just like your lawyer friend. Mind your own business !!

At the Moment we are under a temporary restraining order which means our USA suppliers are not allowed to pay us and we are not allowed to pay out. *Yes* The company in questions is located outside the USA but the 5 Million dollars that Telcoweb are owed for minutes is still inside the USA and under the control of the FTC. Should Telcoweb break the TRO by paying anyone then we would go into default (this is exactly what they want us to do by the way) , and once we default then the FTC can legally keep our / your money which has not yet been paid to us. Wiring a check for $2500 bucks today will cost us 5 million bucks.

I hope that explains a little stand by for a news wire and full press release in a few days

Thanks for your patience

Telcoweb, I don't know if you're able to answer this question or not, but after this does blow over, roughly how long is it gonna take to pay out your resellers ?? Are you preparing everyone's cash, ready to send out OR is everything buried and it's gonna take you a couple of weeks after this settles before you start paying out.

Telcoweb
06-11-2002, 09:27 AM
Once the TRO gets lifted we will start catching up on payroll within a few days, though not all at once. It may take a week or 2 to get fully back to normal we need to then get paid from the USA.

thanks

Vague facts and personal attacks on your critics. Can't you guys do any better than that? Here ... I'll be your PR man.

"Very soon, though we don't know when, some things will happen that may or may not make things better. Everyone perhaps could be paid sometime in the near future, or not, but probably maybe.

We have been prevented from discussing these things due to a number of reasons that we also cannot discuss. If we COULD discuss them you would understand that we are owed 5 million dollars, and are unable to pay you.

If you any questions, concerns, or issues that require immediate attention, please wait until some more things happen. When they do we will let you know.

Everything is great though! Really!

P.S. Anyone who doubts the possible truth of the above, even absent a single stich of proof, is a clueless prick. (Yes, this means you.)"

Chuba you constantly post against Telcoweb everytime there is a problem trying to be anonymous no email in your profile what a man , I wonder who you are......

Lets look at your sig on earlier posts.

http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=159710#post159710

Lets look up that domain http://www.freebroadbandvideo.com

Domain Name: FREEBROADBANDVIDEO.COM

Administrative Contact:
McGraw, Brian brian@critical-data-integrity.com
3210 Taylor Avenue
Baltimore, MD, 21234

lets type it into a browser - OOPS it redirects to VARADOXGROUP.COM

That would be a valid enough reason to wish Telcoweb are out of business, lets face it you were only in the game for 5 minute's. I guess this is what you do all day these days , now your *gone*.

Unfortunately Telcoweb is not gone , sure we took a kick and it's taken 3 law firms and $300K in legal fees to answer the complaint but prevail we will.

Thanks VARADOX for your vote of support LOL

I have no love for any of the dialer companies, including Varadox, which made a run to buy our development company and then, for all intents and purposes, defaulted.

In fact, we are still owed over $20,000 in development costs for a new product for the Varadox Group which was never released.

Critical Data Integrity formally requested removal from the Varadox website some time ago, especially in light of the fact that the buyout was never executed.

The damage to our revenue from our brief interaction with Varadox far exceeds Telco's legal fees and withheld funds combined.

Because of pending legal action regarding the above, I have limited what I have said about Varadox.

Anyway, if it seems I am hard on Telcoweb, it's because Telcoweb is at the top of the board today, and it's my first time back in about a month. LOL

In the end there is no difference between any of the dialer companies. They are all walking the fine line between legality and illegality, purposefully testing the very limits of the law to line their pockets.

It doesn't matter anyway. My opinions are my own, whether you like them or not. Impressive investigative skills, by the way. I bet you can even find stuff on search engines. Kewl... LOL

Critical Data Integrity formally requested removal from the Varadox website some time ago, especially in light of the fact that the buyout was never executed.

If thats the case why does the domain http://www.criticaldataintegrity.com redirect straight to Varadox? I mean this is your domain you don't need to ask varadox to remove the redirection right? Unless of course you are lying

The damage to our revenue from our brief interaction with Varadox far exceeds Telco's legal fees and withheld funds combined.

Ohh I see thats why you are back to doing toplists!

I appreciate you bringing the redirect to my attention.

Since we don't really conduct development business on the web, and our client base is mostly local, we don't pay too much attention to the website.

Thanks for your help, Telcoweb! :)

How about some trivia now. Lets see who can come up with a list of dialer companies that have *NOT* had some kind of legal trouble.

I mean, you guys act like its the cost of doing business, but I have been writing software for 16 years and have never been sued, especially by the government.

You can paint a snake to look like a gold wand, but it's still just a fucking snake. :)

Jon,

Due was incorrect with his statements. I spent an hour with him arguing on ICQ over it and he kept insisting that he was right. I kept telling him that if Telcoweb were to pay their webmasters now the FTC would make sure they'll never touch another 900 number again.

He kept trying to tell me that the FTC can't bar Telcoweb from getting payments from their 900 supplier. Well I'm sorry but he's wrong. The FTC regulates the 900 industry and they can do whatever they please even to an offshire corporation.

When the FTC has you by your balls, you do what they say or you're fucked. It's as simple as that. Offshore corporation or not.

Are you accusing Mike and Brian of intentionally defrauding webmasters? They are the ones that wrote the stats and accounting for the entire dialer platform. I think you slipped... all day long you have had your dolt beating up on those two. Did you decide to dirty your own hands a little?

Seems like a very strong accusation to make. Perhaps you have some evidence to that effect? If so, there are several pending lawsuits in which I'm sure a subpoena for your testimony would be most appropriate.

Yeah, it's kind of funny that they always get so angry whenever anyone questions anything they do. It's a power trip thing. Then when they can't run you off the threats start.

Well, "He who protests loudest..." and all that. It must drive Josh crazy having to sign up for new screen names every time I post.

You will notice one thing is always the same. In the end they threaten and insult, because it's all they have. They can't argue on the issues. So out come the threats.

It's almost worth it to stop by once a month just to let everyone see their true nature. :)

In all the time we have been in business we have never misappropriated one cent of webmaster money , and we are not about to start now.

This legal case is very important to every dialer company , if we get made responsible for this spam then all dialer companies will get shut down within 6 months. Some of the dialer companies out there that are members of the trade body NOC will already know this. A lot of money has been spent to prove that dialers do work when the people who run them are responsible. This is paying off big time.

I know it sounds anal but I really have to be carefull on what I post for the next few days , though I am sure Candid will gladly tell the story of how things went our way.
