Hello !
Adult bussines is a good way to make some money but one quastion disturbs me last several months: Haw to legalize adult money?
I live in russia and "adult" bussines a unlegal here so I have to have some "legal" online busines to hide my real source of buks. Same things with my girlfriend and her parents ...I can't tell him I run "porno" site but I have to answer something then they ask me "there u get money"?
So I have quastion to expirienced wembasters:
Haw you legelize money? That type of "non-adult" site I have to build for legalizing my adult buks? Is it possible to build "non-adult" site which profits teoretically comparable with profits of adult site if I would send several thousands unique vesitors per day to that "legal" site?

when you are asked what you do, why not say you do internet marketing, which is true. just don't tell people it's adult.

Brux, here in my country i have a almost the same problem. I am not sure if the porn is legal or not here (my guess is 80% that is legal), but it does not matter. My problem is related to taxes. For some time ago, every money that i received from sponsors outside of my counter were not reported to any authority. But now i report the income that i make form my site as "export services". I sell a service to companies outside my country. If someone comes and ask me what kind of services i say "designing web sites" . That does not mean that i say a lie. In fact that's all of us do. Making sites. So i guess you should go to a lawyer and ask him this. I am sure that there must be a legal way. I did the same and now everything is ok. I pay my taxes, legally and everybody is happy.

I work about 15-18 hrs a day online, sometimes less. Let me make $10k a month.
Even in a "not so poor" country like germany thats a 20k DM. With an average salery of 2.5-3k DM I almost earn 10 times of the average people.
+ I enjoy what I am doing.
+ I am my own boss.

Even if somebody would pay me 10k DM more, I would hate to work for someone else again.

1000 is a very good number. Most of those people work good if they can do it.
For a sponsor or billing company is COMPLETELY legal to send money even if laws in Russia prohibit it. Because they already fullfill their laws (like taxes and other regulations) and BY LAW (international laws are a funny thing) should not give a fuck about laws in our country. We should if we want.

Happened today I beleive or couple of days ago.

For foreigners - it is said there that another pornstudio in Moscow was busted.
It is also said that studio produced not only porn but rape, preteen rape and gay rape and sold material over the internet.

Needless to say, that
1/ Whatever said by media is not important because the studio was busted based on #242 law article for just PORN PRODUCTION. Nothing else.

2/ Remember I wrote about AGECHECK on media reports about CP and what nonsense it was? I wont be surprised that same happened again. Most probably just a usual porn studio was busted and that's all.

You see, as long as our laws are stupid enough to prohibit ALL porn in any kinds media will always overstress. Because otherwise masses may not eat it.

These articles together with cases recently appear more and more.

That is why I beleive all newbies should know EXACTLY first of all what is legal in OUR (not someone's ) country and that is why I beleive any and all "experienced" webmasters who explain that there's a way to work legal should think it all over first and decide if they got ANY rights at all to bullshit people for nothing.

To my experience Russians actually are quite good and even more than good when it comes to webmastering or programming or design.
Besides they're kind...No, I dont take into consideration some of them who immigrated. Those people immigrated MOSTLY (not all) in the first place because they never did like their own people...Always by the way couldnt understand it. A man can become a man wherever I think. Place doesnt matter a lot. Character does...

The only problem we always had is that thanks may be to Soviet times (or I dont know to what but I think so...) Russian webmasters are still mostly too easy to be mislead and always beleive in what they're told without actually checking it.

Saw that happen hell lot of times. Always opposed it though.

A webmaster I know a bit even had a funniest accident when for joke's sake he said in a russian forum that he purchased a personal space satellite. He SWEARED that at least 15 webmasters that day actually asked him in ICQ and via email what the hell he needs satellite for?
