I use both iBill and CCBill. Overall, I think they are both good processors, however, CCBill's supports beats the hell out of iBill's.

There is nothing to compare between them . Ibill sucks bad .
It will take u 2-3 weeks just to setup the account , and if u'll need support , u'll better ask it somewhere else .
ccbill rocks , they have better sytem , they will install your account in 1-2 days , and their support is one of the best i ever had .

They both get the job done.

Personally, I'd say that CCBill's got a superior admin area (iBill's is crap), and iBill's got better support (CCBill's is crap).

I use both
CCbill is 100% easier to setup, change if you need changes,
and you can have a Free affiliate program so you can have other webmasters sell your site...

CCBill is about 14.5 but goes down in volume I would use them even at 20% its all about peace of mind in this business

Ibill is great they have been having some issues they just updated their system and added lots more functions and they have sliding scale so the more volume you do they will lower your fee. When i need support i get it somtimes they put me on hold because its easier while they are looking at the account not because they dont have enuff support personel.

As for ccbill well they dont even know what backup processing is i talked to 4 people and they all put me to another person. When i finally made it to the forth person after 2 others said they could set up somthing for me the last guy said they couldnt do it.

One guy at ccbill couldnt even give me support he told me call back in 10 mins when a master tech was available how great is that. Least he could have put me on hold untill the other guy could assist me but to tell me to call back in 10 mins is very unprofessional.

Anyway i will only use ccbill for backup because Ibill works with me in many ways to meet my needs and allow for me to have an easy backup solution. When i have questions they can answer them and not ship me off to other people either like ccbill has done.

I setup with both and then found what was best way for my situation and went from there. It would take a hell of alot more then fancy stats to get me to switch them to my primary and if i do switch it will be to epoch with ibill as a backup.

CCBill is great. They had me setup in a few hours and IBill took about 2 phone calls and a week. I also think it's great that CCBill has people like KimmyKim that comes around and visits all the webmaster boards.

A diff perspective here..

From experience i've seen that all the adult sites i have promoted...... the ccbill ones made about 3 times the revenue than the ibill ones..

I got one paysite, i went with CCbill and no complains...

CCbill also like gives you your own personal customer representative who you can contact for all problems.......however big or small your site is!!!

toker if you email swapnas@ccbill.com and ask her who your salesperson is she will tell you. Of course the emails that come to you periodically regarding updates and changes to our system are usually from your rep as well.

As to the MET thing, that was already addressed and taken care of so enough with the dead horse.

On to a more productive note -- if you own a paysite you'd do yourself well to have two processors, one for primary and one for secondary.

In our system, if we are primary you simply create an html page that you want your declines to go to. Nothing major or complicated, and you can put whatever you want on that page... dialer... checks... alternate cc processor... the choice is yours, not ours. The admin has a place where you enter the url that you want your declines to be sent, so it doesn't get much simpler than that. http://manual.ccbill.com is quite clear on how to do most of the things that a site owner would be involved in working out.

Our setup is usually about a day turnaround, provided your tour and member area is up and running so we can have a look at it. There is no charge for setup, and fees start at 14.5% and DROP from there, based on the volume you do -- the computer automatically drops your fees as you grow, so you don't have to bug a salesperson to change anything for you either.

Hey evilc, I'm really glad you mentioned this. I was going to ask - Which processor accepts more CCs? I'm assuming with what you say evilc, that CCbill accepts more - therefore iBill is more strict (not necessarily bad though).

Anyone have any experience with CC processors which seem to have a better acceptance rate?

Cheers,
Matt

I don't have the breakdowns here at home EscortBiz, but your salesperson should be able to get them for you, or if your salesperson isn't in the office then the person filling in for them should be able to help you (gotta couple people out right now for various reasons, including me, came home from vacation with some severe back problems and I can't sit for more than about ten minutes at a time) --
