TGP clickthrough ratios?

For those of you who have posted a lot of galleries and know your stuff... I'd like to know what kind of numbers you typically achieve for clickthru ratios on gallery banners (or textlinks).

Are people getting 5%, 10%? 20%?

Not a lot ... But you get a freaking lot of traffic with that =p

You forgot to add a 0 on the 500. 1:500 looks more to me like what you would get with search engines and adult directories that fancy themselves as SE. If you can convert 1:500 from "Bad Traffic Recyclers" (ie. TGP and Pictures Posts)you must have one hell of a site.

Not conversion... I'm talking raw clickthrough ratios here..

Out of X number of people that see your gallery a day, how many of them click your banner/textlink

I want to know what kind of ratio I can hope to achieve w/ practice

Most TGP posters get 1.5%-2% clickthrough, but the more experienced can get as high as 5%. It's all about tweaking tweaking and tweaking.

i have gotten almost 10% with shemale, but lately more like 5-6%.

the tighter the niche and the better the textlink, the higher the percentage.

we never did as well with banners.

My tgp traffic converts 1:100 - 1:200 at the worst. I know people who do 1:100 all the time with TGP traffic.

Try this. Try sending it to free programs, like maturefree, joinfree. 1:10 ratio but the money is not that good.

Make your own sexkey site, thats free memberships that you sell and make $10. If you can't sell 5-10 free memberships a day off 50k-80k hits. Try different strategies.

Find a niche thats not overused, like for example, pantyhose. Post those galleries.

i change about 10 sponsors a week, matching it to be just right. It is such a pain in the ass.

You must be one of those few lucky ones. Every time I submitted to TGP, I got lots of free loaders, high bandwith costs and few converts.

And yes I'm tired of TGP. Now I only submit to SE and directories and do a few link trades.

I now get about 1,000 hits (per domain) per day and convert 3 or 4 per day. It's less work (I don't have to submit to 400 TGP every day) and I'm making more money.

For my index pages, I do it manually; and for my other pages I use www.xxxsubmit.com (http://www.xxxsubmit.com) which is free to use and they keep my record so I can remember when was the las time I submitted to a SE.

Depends on what works for you. Traffic can be worked any way possible. Even sending tgp traffic to join4free programs at $1.50 a signup you can make $100 a day easy.

I must admit the traffic number I was getting from TGP was quite addictive, but it was killing my bandwidth and got jag shit conversion. I also found out that TPG surfers like free or cheap porn. I may be wrong but for recurring programmes (like I'm using) that charges clients +$30 per month I don't think TPG is the best way to go.

I totally agree with you. My sites over 70% of the income, is SE, AVS type traffic. The rest is TGP, i just like seeing the numbers, and even if its only $40-$60 profit after making $100 every single day its not that bad. I want to build my tgp up, just so i can have trades for better traffic to my other projects which i have lots of ideas on.

one of my gallery I just checked got me a clickthrough of 6%... which is pretty good...

just gotta find how to convert those!

What does the 6% means in term of number of hits? If it's more than 500 clickthrough, it may mean
1- you're selling stuffs that is too expensive for the "TGP's surfers,"
2-your selling things they can get for free
3-they're clicking for more free pics.
