Does my site load fast....

i was wondering if you guys could help me by giving me tips on how to design this site and i need to know whether it loads fast enough

i am using 321host-it with it currently

if you guys wouldnt mind helping me out a bit by letting me know how fast it loads and whether or not i should use that design i would be greatful

It has nothing to do with your host it is because you are hotlinking from http://www.geocities.com you are not only hotlinking but you are loading the full pictures as thumbnails. Why not come back when you take you want to run a site not cheat others

yo man, the thing is i didnt want to waste a lot of bandwidth, i dont have a large income, so i made an acct at geocities for the extra pics, ill change it now and see if it loads faster

but i was trying to save bandwidth bills, if that wont work, just say so...and ill change it in a matter of minutes

ok, now, i made separate thumbs for each of them, now it should load faster

i will consider what juggler said as constructive criticism

Fossil, you were cheating Geocities because you were hotlinking pics from their servers. That is stealing their bandwidth.

And don't you think you should learn how to compress those thumbs? Even if I wanted I would never been able to make a 175x107 pic with a 24Kbs size! http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Well, everyone talks about Ulead Smart Saver Pro, but I just use PaintShop.

Fossil glad to see you took it as constructive.

The best way to make thumbs is using a gallery maker I perfer http://www.digitaldutch.com/arles/ I am pretty sure you can download it for a 30 day trial but it is well worth the few dollars they charge.

Try not to get to hung up about paying for bandwitdh as long as you get it right the higher the bandwitdh bill the bigger your bank account will be. If you do things like steal from geocities I for one will not want to help because if you will cheat them then you will cheat me.
