i have a topic that will hopefully kick some ass in adult sponsor land.
my businesspartner and me have several adultsites with 350K uniques a day and we used to advertise for MOJOSEARCH on 3 of our adultsites. http://www.fhwl.com http://www.fromhollandwithlove.com http://www.1000freegalleries.com
we have been using MOJO for the last 7 months now and never had any problems with them untill last week
normally the payment should be done 2 weeks ago but we never got the earned ammount for october.
after waiting a week we tried to contact them by email (4 times) but no reply
after calling them we found out that our account has been deleted (they let us advertise for 2 more months before telling that) and the reason was that we were supposed to have illegal content on our sites.
we are in this business for 4 years now and are the same as the rest of you trying to make an honest buck without using anything illegal content.
the second time we called them they admitted making a mistake because they checked out the wrong site but when we asked about the 5000$ the ow us they just hung up the phone
there is absolutely no proof of the things they say.
it seems to me that when you have a company and you dont want to do business with ilegal sites you stop the account and dont let them advertise for 2 more months.
from all these facts i can only make 1 conclusion and that is : MOJOSEARCH is stealing money from honest webmasters who are working hard to make a buck, so please friends watch out and if there is something not right with your account stop promoting them asap because i am realy sure they will fuck you hard.

From what I see here I see a sponsor telling it like it is, and I for one am happy to use Mojosearch as my sponsor knowing that they stand by their rules, which keeps everything clear.

I know where they stand and because of their enforcement of that set of rules, they ensure the profitability of their programs.

I don't use mojosearch, but I know how a sonsorship program works. What you people are all forgetting is that your sponsors pay you to advertise their site. THEY have the right to qualify who they want to be associated with. That goes for ANY company that advertises, online or off.

The webmaster is responsible for any links you have on your site. A link to any other site serves as your recommendation to the surfer.

It is also your responsibility to read the rules of ANY program you wish to become an affiliate of. Amost all include a clause stating that you can be dropped from the program without notification.

I'm not an affiliate for any of 12clicks programs, but I know him and I know plenty of webmasters who have made a lot of money advertising for him. If the program rules are followed, you make money. How much more simple could it be?

they go looking for some account that sent a lot of clicks-hits and TRY to find something WRONG with that account so they have enough money left to pay there buddies.

I have had over 20 click type accounts, now i have just one. i got canned from 3 of them by some silly rule like my font size was in arial and was bold type face.. so theses clicker guys can really fuck you up!...

I suggest any new webmaster stay away from click type programs unless you are buddies with the owner! a lesson learned over the years. even if you know the owner you may get Screwed..

I don't agree with you, just like the "eastern block webmasters are cheaters" is not true, the same with sponsors. There are many that will shave or find something not to pay you and there are honest sponsors that want to stay in the biz and not make a fast buck and ripp webmasters (that is fraud and criminal). Remember www.frontbucks.com (http://www.frontbucks.com) program I used to have. It was a click program and paid everybody on time. As soon as the problems with CC and FTC arrise, 6 months ago or even more, I had the choice to keep it running and not pay half of my honest webmasters, finding untrue reasons not to pay them (as you said, text size accuse of CP without proofs, etc) but I choose to close down the whole program and pay everybody the money due. This way I stay in biz and have excellent relationships with my webmasters that use http://www.exitmoney.com or http://www.junkexit.com

Hey, rules are rules. You should have read them. I always do. They aren't my beloved sponsors, I don't even use them. I do have to make some comments though. 12clicks canned that Patrick guy because he was trading with CP and KP descriptions. Sorry but that tells me that he's a CP supporter. I bet if he left them as is, he wouldn't have gotten as many clicks because they weren't misleading enough.

I think some of you guys need to take responsibility for your own actions and READ the RULES! Don't go blaming the sponsor if you didn't read their rules, and if you don't like the rules don't join them.

I have not been paid by many sponsors in the past. I do agree that if someone is breaking the rules, then they should not get paid. The only problem that I do have with sponsor, is that if someone is breaking the rules, they never contact that webmaster and ask them if they knew they were. Some of us have broken rules in the past, but did not realize it. Also, many sponsors know they are not going to pay a specific webmaster (even if the webmaster broke a rule by mistake) and keep there account open just for the free income. That I feel is not fair. It would be fair if the webmaster was diliberatly trying to steal from the sponsor, but how would the sponsor know without contacting the webmaster (expesially in the case of a miswording or bold font)???

Now with the child porn part..... Well if the webmaster was linking to child porn then I think they should get fucked up the ass (not saying patrick was). Also, I wouldn't care if that webmasters traffic was stolen for 3 months without knowing if they were going to get paid or not. Every webmaster should know who he is trading with. BUT, If the sponsor was really aginst child porn, then he should not except that traffic and make money off of it. I feel that is just as bad as having it on your site. You are making money off of it right??? Instead, why not contact the webmaster and say you don't want anything to do with his CP promoting ass and ask him to take down your banners because you want nothing to do with it. You can't blame someone for promoting child porn and still except the traffic, other wise you would be a hypocrite.

1- if CP is involved, it's in the sponsor's right to close it, that's without a doubt in my mind... even if description is involved, but still borderline..

2- 12clicks WILL find something wrong if he gets in a fight with you... for a fact.. just go check the boards... he'll find something wrong with your advertising, and won't pay you.... IT IS in his right, but IMHO it's still not a good business tactic...

Screw the 20% markup profit on what you pay for the traffic when you can earn the entire 120% (100% you pay the webmaster + 20% markup in resale).

On those figures if the webmaster doesn't realize for 3 months you'd earn roughly the same as if you'd had the webmaster in your program for 18 months.

It is obviously apparent that these American citizens know nothing of the northern European country called Sweden.

The murder rate is at an all time low now. Sure there have been such tragic and horrible shootings in school, but they are the exception.

very well respected USA program owners as in 12shits and lensfuck, so if you are living in a "cold " region as in not the USA do not bother to work with them ........... one day .......... you will be next.

Defamation and Libel? To win in court, you would have to prove damages. A lawyer wouldn’t even take a Defamation and Libel case without you producing a $5,000 retainer. You don’t sue someone because you didn’t like what they said about you. You would have to prove that someone’s words caused injury to your reputation causing either financial or punitive damages and that is hard to prove. Besides that, I didn’t see anyone publish your full name or business. And quite frankly, what I see in this thread is just a lot of name calling. I certainly don’t take any of this crap seriously.
