Ok, my office space in in the lower level of my condo here, and it is a nice 40 degrees outside with 65% humidity..
There is no room for an Air conditioner in our condo, and with 2 monitors over 21 inches and 2 machines blowing hot air all the time it heats up in here BIG time..
How do you all stay cool in the summer time?

Sounds like you will have to live with a big fan since there isnt room for an AC unit. A ceiling fan works wonders too.

portable AC is great.. another tip: I like to take 4-5 cold showers a day..
also, helps relax my eyes from computer eyestrain, eg hot shower then switch to cold .. great way to keep cool
It's winter in Australia,
I have to keep warm ;)

Didn't the Sharper Image used to have some contraption that fit around your neck that cooled off your whole body? That sounds like fun. I was in AZ this weekend and I could have really used that! It was crazy stupid hot there. :)

Move to a house with a/c
43 degrees here today and the damn central air is busted; I'm fucking dying and I can barely get any work done. I bought 2 big fans and even they're not cooling me down at all. I've taken too placing those ice packs you use on sports injuries onto various parts of my body. :D
Go to your local Japanese/Korean dealer (market, Mitsuwa, etc.). You can most likely special order Japanese A/C units. They do not need to be by a window. They are longer and more rectangular than American units. I think they retail starting around $200 in Japan.
