Traffic Boosts - do they really work?

I am thinking of buying around 10k exit per day for 1 week to boost one of my cj2's. I have never done this and was wondering what the best method is. Also, will my traffic stay up after the boost has ended, or will it just go back down again?

You're bound to get some book markers, but if you buy 10k a day for a week, there is no way in hell you're gonna keep that much after. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

But you will boost your trades to a higher level for a week, chances are that they will stay on that level, or atleast higher than before the additional traffic.
