bannerless freehosts have to make money somehow,
so if they have no banners... how do they do it?

redirecting to their 404 usually,do you want that?

Our ads are so small, we're almost banerless + you won't see us pulling dirty tricks with your traffic. Check the sig.

I will strongly recommend using a "normal" free host awell.

Bannerless hosts suck ass and will get you in trouble with any tgp owner you post to.

There is a few ways how bannerless free hosts make money:

1. Redirecting foreign traffic
2. Redirecting YOUR pages to a 404
3. Requiring you to advertise one of their paysites exclusively.

Don't believe in those hosts that say something like 'bannerless until 6/22/02!'

It's bullshit.

-eru

Usually freehosts that go banners till blah, would be a freehost you could trust. It shows its a freehost that the person puts money into, has enough money to cover it, and just wants to get their freehost good sized before they put ads on it.

Any freehosts we host we highly recommend going banners for a period of time. It gives people a good length of time to check out the freehost, to see if they like it, etc. It also proves the webmaster has the money to stick with the freehost in the long haul.

Check out www.phreehost.com - no redirects, no ads, no cheating, no forgein traffic stealing, etc
