The guys at auto-chat.com and usvirgins.com are persistent spamming bastards. I sent them a nasty email letter threatening to contact ibill if they didn't stop. They did stop. However they have just started again, they have just been a little more clever in covering their tracks. Here is the header from the latest:
Return-Path: <ac-zldb@auto-chat.com>
Received: from mail-99.auto-chat.com ([65.171.144.99])
by mta02.mail.mel.aone.net.au with ESMTP
id <20020322053830.GNMB5856.mta02.mail.mel.aone.net.a u@mail-99.auto-chat.com>;
Fri, 22 Mar 2002 16:38:30 +1100
Received: from localhost (root@localhost)
by mail-99.auto-chat.com (8.11.2/8.11.2) with SMTP id g2M5nqZ15845;
Thu, 21 Mar 2002 21:49:53 -0800
Date: Thu, 21 Mar 2002 21:49:52 -0800
From: "Susan Smits" <susan@auto-chat.com>
Subject: Your statement
Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-type: text/html
Comment: ac-zldb
To: undisclosed-recipients:;
Message-ID: <15315.20020321214809@mail.auto-chat.com>
X-Mozilla-Status: 8001
X-Mozilla-Status2: 00000000
X-UIDL: <15315.20020321214809@mail.auto-chat.com>

--------------
How do I prove to ibill that I received it? How come I'm getting the spam at my usual email address, even when recipient is "undisclosed", or has mta02.mail.mel.aone.net.au resolved to my usual email address?

Hi

Run it though spam cop to see where it came from.
http://spamcop.net

If you are talking to anyone about it always include the full headers when you send them a copy of the email. Most established companies deal with enough spam complaints to figure out the headers.

Hope this helps,

Darius

You dont need SpamCop for that just send to ibill obviously if you have the full headers you must have recieved it. They are not stupid and obviously the headers are hiding the recipent for a reason and i would contact the hosting providers provider.

Spamcop is not to great now its become just another money maker. Although lots of great information can be found if you spend a few hours looking around the site.

Never fear if all else fails just trace the IP and go directly to upstream they know how to pull the plug. It somtimes takes a few emails to show them you are serious but dont give up.

Yah, spamcop is a waste of time. By the time you figure out what's up, you're so damn irritable with it you don't care any more. It's become pretty over rated now as well.

Maybe, I'm in wrong. Maybe this guy isn't same one. But they promote same sites, and their emails have at very bottom same sentence. Like "shhhhhh all girls are 18 year old", or something similar.
On links for usvirgins.com, and auto-chat.com, they have referer code, and on other sites no.
Two templates for emails, first for one site, second for 5-6 sites.

Too many coincidence...

But I don't get new email from him last couple of days

peace

Thanks guys. I read the other thread. Yeah it's the same guy. I have contacted ibill ( he used ibill on usvirgins.com last time I checked ) and they asked me to email the details to abuse@ibill.com
