Dear Colleagues,

I guess this topic was discussed earlier on this board.

How to protect licensed images by putting URL and/or logo especially if there are thousands of them?

I have heard that EyeBatch can do this for images but I have difficulties with inserting transparent TIFF and GIF images. Besides, I don’t like the way it handles quality of fonts (does not make it smooth enough)

Also is there any program that can put URL and/or logo on licensed videos (MPEG) without loosing quality?

I know that Adobe Premiere can do this but this software is little bit complicated. Is there any other program that may perform this kind of task?

Please ICQ me at 160125093

Thank you all in advance,
Mistress

If you want the url to be displayed while the whole movie than you have to add this while converting it. There are tons of converters out there (EO video, Camtasia, SonicFoundry just to name a few). For adding a gfx just at the beginning you can resample the first 5 secs for example (of course in the same quality) and then join both parts. this will save much time if you got many big movies.

as far as i know there is no other way. but maybe Im wrong. Im also no expert for movies :)

For movies, use VirtualDub (free) and look for a watermark/logo plugin on the net. If you don't find it, pm me and i'll search it 4 u.

I just reread your post, and see you were talking about mpeg. Virtualdub isn't for mpegs but for avis. So now, i wouldn't know of a quick way to watermark mpegs. I read once something about Videomach and Moyager but i'm not sure about that one.

Greetings, Michael

Hello Ezey and MichaelH,

Really appreciate your replies!
Thank you very much!

Ezey, I am not converting my videos...just recording it in MPEGs format using All-in-Wonder RADEON 7500...so I think I have to record it in AVIs and then convert it into MPEGs...

MichaelH, so I guess the only right solution for me in this situation is to convert convert my existing MPEGs into AVIs,make watermarks for them and then again convert it back into MPEGs, where I will probably loose a lot of quality...

Or, just re-record all movies in AVIs and convert them into MPEGs.

Is there any nice converters from AVIs to MPEGs and
from MPEGs to AVIs available?

Thank you all in advance,
Mistress

PS.Of course, your suggestions and thoughts are very valuable and always welcome!

AVI to MPEG >> TMPGEnc
MPEG to AVI >> VirtualDub

Good luck
