Hi all. I am new to the webmastering field and wanted info on Content.

I simply don't have the cash to Buy anything at this time and was hoping to find some resources for free content.

The ideal situation woud be for someone to share what they have paid for and have rights to.
In exchange I would have the following posted on my pages. Content Provided by "Your Business" which would link to your site. it would be a snazzy image of Ice Blue text with a drop shadow. I would also list your banner image first in my Adult Website lists, which I have yet to create.

What kind of content?

Right now, i desperately need Glamour photos. Women and men dressed to kill. Lingerie, Undies and that type.
I could also use average Porn contnet. Teen, Les, Gay, Porn Star, etc

What will i do with it?

I plan to splice and dice some of it to make Web Graphics, Icons, Link Images, Banners, headers and so on.

My Site is not your Typical adult site. It is a site that will have Porn but not on the main pages. I am building a small business online that sells a little bit of everything that adults may need.
Once i reach a point where I am not in the RED I will deffinately be looking at Buying a CD of Conent somewhere. But right now I am in the Red and need to work my way out.

Besides, these low priced content CDs scare me. I don't want "cheap" content. I want conent that turns on both men and women. I am after the vision of Sex that Attracts, seduces and touches desire. Not the gross side of sex. I have a feeling all these low priced CD's are filled with the gross stuff.

So what advice can anyone give on getting free content to decorate my site with and have a Picture Gallery and Vids to show.

I am sure there are a few long time webmasters who have content that they have been running for years that would not mind sharing a peice of it for a few links and the credit for supllying it.

Thanks for reading.

There are no shortcuts. If you are serious about your business, you should invest in it and buy content.

That is to say the very least "ILLEGAL" and by you providing a link to them you just wave the flag he gave it to me!!!

So when he ends up having his license revoked for "trading content for advertising" im sure he will be ever so thankful.

If you aint got bread then you get a job and save some dough its quite simple. This is a business and if you aint got money to get in the game then you dont play.

Personally im sick of freeloaders like yourself who by using unlicensed content cause the value of my paid content to decrease. So i should pay so you can setup shop and then later make a profit off my hard earned money.

If you were to read the content license most providers have it strictly forbids what you are tring to do for a good reason. Webmasters dont own the content rights they own rights to use on "their sites" only.

They in most all cases must also provide each domain this content will be used on and some can only be used on limited domains.

So now that you are aware of how this content licensing works go over to your local Mc Donalds and ask them if you can have some free hamburgers to sell. Tell them you are in the red but want to start a porn biz and need to make some cash and you need them to help you get in the green.

toker may not be diplomatic, but he's totally correct - as well as having a rep for honesty and being knowledgeable.

just because you don't like the way he says it doesn't mean it's not true.

you're going to have legal problems if you let some guy you don't even know trade you content. a lot of people who would do such a thing don't have legal permission, and you could end up fucked. your site has no hits, and you're not offering a tempting link on each page - just a dry link. so there's not a lot of gain to a webmaster.

i have seen a LOT of sites like you talk about building come... and go. there is not really a market for general all-purpose. there IS a market for niches - but you want to do it all.

consider any other medium - radio, television, newspapers, magazines. the advertising is placed in the specific spot mostly likely to sell. sports section of the paper has stuff specifically niched to men who like sports of certain ages.

Well I'm confused.

First - There are alot of sites that offer free content. All they ask for is a link to their pages.
Most do so by having you link to a page on their site. A page with Daily pics or something like that.
I assume this is to get around the legal issue you all have brought up.

But some have downloadable zips that you can take and use. The ones I have found are not something I want.

Second - There are alot of individuals who make their own content. They will include their site/business in the video's or pictures.
This has been going on for years upon years.

I'm sorry guys, but I have no clue about the Adult Business.

One thing I do know is that to travel the roads Most of you are taking requires a Large Pilke of Cash.

I know that the Adult Biz is currently a market of Niche sites. i know you guys make your money by building not one, but Hundreds of pages. I know you guys have invested alot of cash in content and bandwith and hosting space.

I know all this and thats whay I don't want to do what Yall are doing.

I'm different and if I fail as a result then I will lose. I am willing to take the chance.

I have never posted any thing on an Adult Webmaster board before. My first post has some guy stabbing me repeatedly with a dagger of sarcastic hate.
Followed by another telling me to give it up and pack it in because ther is no money in the adult biz, followed by another stating what I am doing is wrong, the money is in niche sites.

Only one reply was productive. the one that lead to free-content.com

You people to check yourselves. Look into your hearts and your souls and ask yourself why. Why are so evil and hateful toward anyone who comes to you seeking information about what you do.

T%he only reason I even considered asking is because an article on one of the Adult webnmaster sites suggested it. Stating that start-ups may find it useful to partner with other webmasters who are already set up.
I assumed he meant content. I did know that after buying a CD from these companies that it was not considered yours to do with as you please.

Thats what these boards are suppose to be about. Asking for info and recieving it.

Well I got the message. So would yall like your dagger back? Never know, another Newbie to pick on may be by any minute, you might need it.

most of those places offering free content are sponsors - with serious terms and conditions. you cannot usually promote another sponsor (including sextoy or internet eraser) on a page with their pics. their pics are free for promoting their site.

there IS suze randall - you can use her pics for clicks, but her program keeps track of the clicks and if you don't send many, you can't use the content. also if you want a lot of content, you can only have it if you send a lot of clicks from the get-go, and a small site is highly unlikely to send that many.

also her program has requirements for how big the pics must stay (MUCH bigger than a free site should use) and what quality they can be saved at.

Free to use don't always mean FREE.

Would you let someone use your content for making money and get nothing in return? At least, you don't have to pay but just promote their name.

Good content cost alot of money and need hours of work, Done by pro.

And when you want to be a pro, there alway a price to pay. if not, anyone would be a pro.

No?

If you're new here, I would suggest you to read recent and old post. It will help you alot and will save you time and effort.

The truth is out there....

oooops, wrong forum!

Anyway, I hope your understand and that the others agree with my point here.

It's my 2 cents

Mav

Also most of the free images cannot be cut up for design elements in most cases. So if your using them to brand your product even though you provide a link its still not going to be allowed.

Furthermore the content wich you plan to use is some of the most expensive you will find. The dirty raunchy stuff is cheap the glamor pro mag qulity is expensive as hell.

You want to compair prices i reccomend the following.

www.matrixcontent.com pornstars and images of exceptional quality and high price.

www.phoenixcontent.com also great quality and much lower prices.

most content providers give you a money back guarantee, so if you don't like it, you don't have to keep it.

try www.ounique.com where you can buy by the set and some of their older sets are like $8 a piece but very nice.

sorry I lost patience on reading every post...but in order to help Visari ....all I can say is check out the sponsors...many have loads of free content to help you get going ...if you diversify enough it won't take long before you can afford to buy pics many content providers start at $20.00 & up. if that doesn't please you buy a good cam & get your own models....then you own the pics 100%.

Hell, I once owned a vending and a cleaning business. There were about 14 competing cleaning companies and 5 vending in an area with a population of 50-60 thousand. It is rare for a customer (albiet in the porn or cleaning industry) to be a "lifetime customer" The trick is to be there when they are tired of the other guy. When I sold the two, they were not the biggest or the best, but they were able to sustain my family and myself comfortably. In addition, I was my own boss. I've never known any different since graduating.

I would guess that the net (considering the population of the world) could always use a few more porn peddlers.
