Cheating Amateurpages.com Did it Again!!

Hi, (PLZ TAKE YOUR TIME TO READ THIS!!)

Just wanted to get out one more warning (I know there were many others doing this before, but I just thought I´d know better) to NOT use AMATEURPAGES .COM as your sponsor (respectiva: amateurmoney .com)

Those low life scum backs are just never paying, and they always find some reasons for "not paying you"

here is my case, and I´ll forward the proper url of this board/thread to them by email, so they can comment this, if they dare to...

This is my case so far:

I´m webmaster of their sponsor program since the mid of february and as I havent got check by the mid of april I somewhat got anxious what there is up with my money... therefore I emailed them several times, until I finally got an answer telling me that checks to oversea could take anything up to 60 days... so fine I waited some more time....

Several Emails later, with only getting "bla bla" answers not stating anything to me not having received anything, but rather telling me that I didnt include my ID, then after I included my ID and told them that there were also some errors in my stats the only answer was "its fixed now" instead of answering my real question, I received following email: (which I will comment below)

"Your check #117048 dated 5-10-02 was returned to us by the post office for a
address error."

----> THIS IS A LIE, cause my address is absolutely correct with them, tripple checked it and everything was fine, I also never had ANY problems with ANY sponsor so far to receive a check, and I´m already doing adult webmastering since about 3 1/2 years.
And besides I´m also wondering that it took them about 90 days to finally send out the first check?!

----> LIE AGAIN!!
1.) I never had such a poor conversion, in 3 of my 5 months of using them I had a conversion of below 1:800 so I even suited their minimum converison to get their higher payment and was close to 1:800 in the two other months and therefore only got (well I havent got it but should have ;) $0.04
2.) Who care for the conversion anyway even if it would be that bad as they clear state that no conversion is needed at all ?!
(thats from their homepage:
"No minimum conversion ratios, no "unproductive" removals!")

"(...)You have taken down our links so I'm unable to go over the account."

----> ofcourse I took down their links after still havent seen any money at the end of june ?? and what for A LIE IS THIS to tell me that they cannot check my stats/account because I´m not sending them any traffic anymore ?? THIS IS JUST REDICULOUS !!

And now after some more emails to them, I finally got following reason for still havent been paid:
(dated from july 10th)

"The rules are at http://www.amateurmoney.com. Your clicks have been negated.

The only reason we checked is that your conversions were far below average,
now we know why.

Do not "target=" a new window or display our site in a frame, display our
link in a
console or new window, or show any console when someone clicks on the

---->> okay this is now finally too much of scaming their webmasters.... telling me after almost 6 months that linking to them by opening them in a new full-screen, resizable (with scrollbar etc.) is illegal.... hahaha Its unbelievable!!!
they never had a problem with this while they told me that my money will come bla bla bla... and I also even only linked to them in a new window from .html files that only carried one of their "fullpage pics" with short description and only a link to their site! so I doubt it reduces overall conversion, and besides my conversion always was fine, otherwise I wouldnt have qualifed for their higher payment most of the time??

BESIDES its includes A BIG FAT LIE AGAIN, as they just told me about 4 weeks before, that I was sent a check that was returned because of wrong address ???!?! so you never sent that check, although you told me, right?? :finger:

CONCLUSION: plz all those webmasters, and there are TONS of them, using them as for sponsor, PLZ DONT USE THEM ANYMORE - ever single cent earned so far will be forfighted... and I bet many of even the big guys in here can underline what I say!!

Besides I´ve stated several reasons for thats just a rediculous reason to let my account run for 6 months and even tell me a check was sent (finally) but then suddendly forfight all my money earned because its not allowed... it doesnt hurt them u know - its not like I´d have cheated them or something

And I also only linked to their site from those fullpage pic ad sites, because I unfortunately took my mainpage´s layout and therefore still had that target=new tag in the <head> and didnt realize it - but hey that sites were all thought as "full page ads" for their site which opened up themselves in a new window, so there was no harm done nor did I have any advantage of not opening up their site on my fullpage ad sites !!

Stop wasting your time with per click sponsors. AP simply can't keep so high payouts. I was kicked few months ago after 2 years with them but I didn't wonder because my conversions went over 1:1000 so I knew my days with them are finished. They could be at least fair enough to warn before not paying, but then again they can't warn you because they wouldn't be able to pay the rest of affiliates. The harder it is for them to keep 4/6c payouts the more affiliates will have problems with them.

If you read carefully the whole situation, you guys will see that they've (AP) been playing with very contradicting excuses. The contradicting excuses alone! (and this settled over a long period of time) show that there's something very fishy from APs end.

However, the rule of on how to target links is also made clear in their TOS. Though, it doesn't explain why they qualified him onto higher payment rates, if his conversions were so bad....?

Weird story, though there are recently more and more similar experiences about this sponsor. Was considering using them, but it looks like being a roulette game of being paid or not.

Half the webmasters have target = blank in their headers, so f*&*ng what, I have it in all my banners and I still get sales.
Sounds like you made sales in a fair way and they strung you out for six months so they could rip you off.

If you really have been a webmaster for 3+ years like you say, you would know how strict amateur pages are with the rules, and you should always read the rules of any program.

Its not that I´m the only one that got screwed and this really should get the attention of all those buddies out there that ARE using them or PLAN to use them, cause you really shouldnt ...

I got screwed for about $1000 and there are others who lost quite a lot more I guess and especially as this is a VERY common used sponsor and so many people report them to having been cheated, screwed for their money etc... its even harder to understand how they still can have so many webmasters promoting them

Rather use nexcash or offshore clicks or something etc.. they "only" pay what I think $0.035 as far as I can remember but rather that and get paid...

Especially the impudance to tell me that a check was sent is so unbelievably :mad:

For a start, size=4 is EXACTLY the same font as size=+1, try it yourself, no rule violation there.

I am opening a GALLERY with links to amateur pages in a new window, which is not the same thing as Enlighter did, he opened their actual site in a new window... I don't do that.

The rule about not having descriptions of "young teen" is because of all the lolita sites and shit out there trying to look like CP sites. I don't make up the descriptions and it is only 1 link out of hundreds on a very clean TGP.

It's lucky you don't work for amateur pages... :D

hopefully you never will get screwed, defending the sponsor all day long and making it possible that many newbies or not so experienced webmasters will rather give them a try or keep on using them, because they think it only happened to me because I made a little mistake!!

I did NOT cheat them... cause they got their sales... and I was already requesting where my money is bla bla bla way before they told me that I wouldnt be paid, which they told me on july 10th (so 5 days ago - as I wrote in my first post!!)

my OVERALL conversion on all 5 months should have been something like 1:700 - 1:900 (cant tell exactly as no tracks are displayed since they changed their stats?!) so it should have been quite ok for them!

and if you think that opening a sponsor in a new window, from a fullpage ad site (so its not like linking to them blindly on a cj site or something) and they DO make their sales - I really cannot see the point... they just needed to find one

reality check here - the reason that programs don't allow new windows is because when you leave the first window open, the surfers have an option to joining the paysite.

this has been tested by like every paysite on the planet. if you open a site in a second window while leaving the first window open, it makes less sales. it's a big traffic leak.

ap is BUYING your surfer from you for 4 cents a unique but by leaving your window open, you are not giving him up. if you sell someone a car, you have to give him the title and all the keys. if you keep a key and try to drive the car when he's not in it, that's legally stealing. you can't do it.

you can't sell someone your surfer while you keep him - plus you knew you were breaking their program rules, which is so disrespectful.

It's a click-thru-program. They don't pay for sign-ups. They don't pay for every kind of traffic. Their rules don't say: send traffic any way you want. If you want to do this, then you should have signed up with a program that is accepting your trash traffic. But these programs don't pay as much as AP.
So you decided for cheating them and they decided for not paying you.

works fine for me. i regularly gets 4 figure checks from them. I am glad they catch cheaters, keeps my payouts high!

I don't know the specific page your are talking about, but if you are using their gallerygenerator links, then you must open that in the same window too. The last time I checked it did not state this anywhere on their site(s), but I asked about this in their support forum on gfy and Eric said anyone opening gallerygenerator links in a new window for the click pic program is breaking the rules.

That's one of those things i never understand. There has been so much warning signals about that sponsor, so much to keep their fingers away from them, but still people seem to want to give them a try.

Not bashing them - since i never used them - but the massive bad publicity about them was and still is enough to not promote any of their programs.

A very friend of mine had the same set up like me, he had run the program and good payed. ( following their rules down to the point) we even had the galleries opening in the same window no mouse over, nothing.
They did not pay me because of 1 single it coming from a domain i do not even know LOL. Iam not wasting and risking my time and money with cheating.

After some month, when i started to promote them. He did not get paid anymore. He had to fight to get less than half of the money. I think it was around $4k .

I never got a cent , we both took a risk and we got fucked.

Well we both finished with that after I did not get a check after 2 month.

I restarted the topic only , because i see plenty of smaller 5k tgps having their program running.

I am not attacking anybody who is using AP, but nowadays I can't imagine why you should use them.

What is the most stupid about this is you tell me a friend got paid about half he was owned. If I were a sponsor and I found somebody cheating I wouldn't pay anything.

Point is, money is money. Be it just 1$ be it 5000$ or more, it doesn't matter. Money is due for payment, and there's no way around, be it on the anonymous internet or by personal cashing out, MONEY IS MONEY.

Keep in mind, for those "little amounts" being not paid by sponsors for whatever reasons, how much profit sponsors still make out of it :

Take 500 webmasters not being paid 100$ per person, it's still a whole 50000$ in total - now take this figure for several months or years or whatever (i bet my figure is an understatement), and see what happens dollarwise...

Bottom line is, if you risk (for good or just for a try despite of several public warnings) your traffic and thus just A LITTLE MONEY for such sponsors, you generally support them in their grand total of shaved/stolen/cheated amount of $$$$$$$$.

Well now we seem to homing in on the crux of the matter. What we are seeing today is the margins for sponsors not comming from a gross profit for the traffic , but rather from not paying their suppliers...I.e the webmasters.
Unfortunatly, there is no praticle means of stopping this. In the real world if a supermarket stopped paying the guy who supplies him bread, he would soon find himself with nothing on the shelves.

It's true there is no way to really get your money, but one thing that has given me some satisfaction by being cheated, is to not accept any galleries promoting Amateur Pages on my TGP sites.

I, never saw much point in prmoting a par per click program. If you traffic if good then you masy as well get per sign up and if it is bad there are always going to be problems if your sponsor can't make a profit from your traffic.

Bad luck though mate, they shouldn't have kept you thinking you were going to get a check.

its your fault.. I must agree. That's one of their major rules, and also is the reason why your traffic did not convert well. You didn't make them money, so they don't owe you any money. It's that simple, really.

i've seen lots of tgp's that have rules which don't allow ap as sponsor. seems there are many ppl that had trouble with their cpp....

Just follow their rules, and send them more than $75 per month in traffic then it's no problem getting paid. :D

Ok Breaker shall I tell you the reason why I was banned, my website is Danish TGP.com their excuse was my website is in a foreign language, when contacting them on their BB as they wouldn't reply to any of my e-mails to them, they said your'e website is in danish, hmmmm which it isn't and has never been, its all english, so anyway they said with a name like that it must be in danish, I replied that it wasn't and their next excuse was that I must have alot of danish traffic, so I gave them my sextracker login and password so they could see that only 2% of my traffic came from Denmark, ok so they said they would look into it, I waited for a month and still nothing, so of I go back to their BB to post again and guess what I am banned, so don't be so stupid as to put, follow the rules and you will get paid, it is misleading to newbies who might use them, I know that most people who haven't been payed by them has proven their innocence in full, nope all you get out of using them for a sponsor is an empty pocket sooner or later ....

This is my case so far:

I´m webmaster of their sponsor program since the mid of february and as I havent got check by the mid of april I somewhat got anxious what there is up with my money... therefore I emailed them several times, until I finally got an answer telling me that checks to oversea could take anything up to 60 days... so fine I waited some more time....

Several Emails later, with only getting "bla bla" answers not stating anything to me not having received anything, but rather telling me that I didnt include my ID, then after I included my ID and told them that there were also some errors in my stats the only answer was "its fixed now" instead of answering my real question, I received following email: (which I will comment below)

"Your check #117048 dated 5-10-02 was returned to us by the post office for a
address error."

----> THIS IS A LIE, cause my address is absolutely correct with them, tripple checked it and everything was fine, I also never had ANY problems with ANY sponsor so far to receive a check, and I´m already doing adult webmastering since about 3 1/2 years.
And besides I´m also wondering that it took them about 90 days to finally send out the first check?!

1.) I never had such a poor conversion, in 3 of my 5 months of using them I had a conversion of below 1:800 so I even suited their minimum converison to get their higher payment and was close to 1:800 in the two other months and therefore only got (well I havent got it but should have ;) $0.04
2.) Who care for the conversion anyway even if it would be that bad as they clear state that no conversion is needed at all ?!
(thats from their homepage:
"No minimum conversion ratios, no "unproductive" removals!")

"(...)You have taken down our links so I'm unable to go over the account."

----> ofcourse I took down their links after still havent seen any money at the end of june ?? and what for A LIE IS THIS to tell me that they cannot check my stats/account because I´m not sending them any traffic anymore ?? THIS IS JUST REDICULOUS !!

---->> okay this is now finally too much of scaming their webmasters.... telling me after almost 6 months that linking to them by opening them in a new full-screen, resizable (with scrollbar etc.) is illegal.... hahaha Its unbelievable!!!
they never had a problem with this while they told me that my money will come bla bla bla... and I also even only linked to them in a new window from .html files that only carried one of their "fullpage pics" with short description and only a link to their site! so I doubt it reduces overall conversion, and besides my conversion always was fine, otherwise I wouldnt have qualifed for their higher payment most of the time??

BESIDES its includes A BIG FAT LIE AGAIN, as they just told me about 4 weeks before, that I was sent a check that was returned because of wrong address ???!?! so you never sent that check, although you told me, right?? :finger:

CONCLUSION: plz all those webmasters, and there are TONS of them, using them as for sponsor, PLZ DONT USE THEM ANYMORE - ever single cent earned so far will be forfighted... and I bet many of even the big guys in here can underline what I say!!

They are right on the conversion . You did convert 1:3000 because they shave 3/4 of the hits . Except that you are totally right they owe money too . Eric told me he'd check it 15 times in 2 months and he never did give me a reason why i didn'T got the check
