Picture Posts.. Is it worth it?

Anyone can give any feedback.
I know there aren't many left. But are they worth submitting to the few that is around?

The bottom line is. Without traffic you get 0 sales. SE traffic is the best so you can pick your poision!

It sure is worth it if you have an auto submitter, which submits them hands free for you.

By the way, the best/cheapest is picpost blaster from h4q.com. comes with 150 picposts allready in the database. Nice! :)

shane- whats the average traffic for 1 submit-session?


(par example for russian-tgp-submitter it's about 30k average,tgp2-submitter 50 hits average per submission)

just so i can get clear on this, a pic post is where you submit a picture and a link to your sponser...or what?

1 submit using the database that comes with it, probably produce 50 hits maby not even that(to your FPA or sponsor)

Which, to compare, im guessing about 50k tgp hits is worth about 50 hits to a sponsor


however submit automaticly every few hrs on several domains, and make some good $$

I don't know about posting to pic posts, but it is a good for the people that run them. Think about it, the pics that people post there are hosted by the people that submit them, so you (as the site operator) have a site full of content and don't have to even worry about bandwidth issues about them.

I think that if one were to start a nice looking pic post and promote it good - it could be a real gold mine. And there's plenty of free pic post scripts out there, so it wouldn't even cost you hardly anything to get a good one up and running.

heres a hot tip:

use the shavenferret script, it makes an amazing network of 1000s of pages all linked together with different names and descriptions, perfect for search engine spiders ;)

Just be sure to have your 404 redirect on, 'cause the old pages are rotated off, and often theres 1000s listed at google

TGP's are a pain in the ass to update. I run a movie post and it's so much easier to update that type site than a TGP.

I tried it last year 2 times. The traffic was low, and the result poor. I was handsubmitting, and it was a waste of time.

Maybe it's something different with an autosubmitter.

I never had good results with pictures post in the past and i prefer tgp cause in my opinion you have the time to tease the surfer with a series instead of just submitting a pic.

I have used sublime thumbs and got tons of traffic. The quality of the traffic wasn't that great. Might work sending the traffic to blind links though. Surfers that suck up the free stuff are really educated now a days. You almost have to disable right click and disable view source. Fuckin freeloaders.

It was worth it, but now, in the summer, it all goes down. Hopefully it will turn back in the winter like always. Hope this will aswer your question
