hi
how to ? is it enough to be listed at dmoz or i need to submit to aol personally ? or how ?
I am not sure AOL uses DMOZ listings anymore, but I could be wrong. The easiest way is to buy some listings in InkTomi (however that will change in August, when AOL start using Google), and make some pages and submit. The good thing about Inktomi, is they spider your site every 48hours or something so you can see the effect your changes have on your ranking immediately.

yea i know about Inktomy but August is in a few days ahead what will be the next ?
Google I have heard, but not 100% sure it will happen in August however, so maybe just hold off for a little bit and see how things pan out.

aol still uses dmoz for user submissions:- http://search.aol.com/add.adp
Oops, I didn't see that! ;)
Looks like I might start making some more DMOZ sites again.

Yeah since the change between dmoz results to ink results aol never change their way to add a site in their database and never put a link to ink.

registerfly offers free submission now to major search engines
or try ADDWEB 5.0
i'm listed in MSN everywhere with the domain name bobsaget.com
aol, still works with dmoz, but i don't get so big traffic from them like i git before 10 months. I got over 1k/day from aol using dmoz directory submition. I did't understand why is that.

I like Trellion Search Engine Submission (http://www.trellian.com/cgi-bin/entry?id=67810&file=http://submit.trellian.com) For all my submission needs. They have express inclusion in 48 hrs and seem to do everything they advertise including Dmoz and AOL. I like That! :D
Also try Submit Wolf Pro (http://www.trellian.com/cgi-bin/entry?id=67810&file=swolf/) for a search engine submission and optomization tool. It works!
The traffic you get from search engines is worth spending the extra coin :)
