I bought a membership 2 years ago to his site and the deal was I'd get new scripts for life for joining for $299.00 well I joined and did good for months, but then he "upgraded" his membership and if I wanted to get new scripts I had to pay $399.00 more.
Then, I bought his "opt=in webmaster CD"
I sent 1 bulk mail, and had over 250 spam complaints, and he promised everyone was optin.
Tech Support SUCKS ass.
I would not spend 1 cent with them.

We bought a membership from him, and the scripts come broken right out of the box.
Don't buy his scripts, unless you plan on using it as a skeleton for your programmers so they have something to work from. That's the only thing they are good for.

definitely a good idea to do some heavy research on this guy before dealing with him.
http://perlcoders.com/truth/ (read this if you read no others) http://www.vv-inc.com/beware.html
etc. search for 'drew star superscripts' on google.

A little more light reading for ANYONE who this this is a good idea:

Unfortunately, that "hatemail" page is now redirecting to a list of his available scripts. Apparently he's starting to learn some business sense, as before it was a list of tech support questions and complaints he had received along with his abusive responses - including threats to hack into accounts and threatening legal action against those who had complaints. This psycho is PROUD of the fact that he treats his clients like garbage.
Caveat Emptor.

I was about to buy a membership a while ago for Bandwidth Valve. In the end I bought the script for a minimum fee, but I still couldn't get it to work, though. ;) I wasn't aware of these problems, but I was uneasy about his attitude when dealing with him.
