Hey Guys,

A friend and I are working on a MGP Submitter. I have already purchased the domain www.mgpsubmitter.com and I want a program that submits only to MGP's. This is going to be a subscription based service and should save EVERYONE tons of time. I realize that every webmasters submit page is different and that's the whole trick involved in this process.

So my question is. What are some features you would like to see built into this application? I want to cover all the bells and whistles before we release a working model. So please post away and lets hear your ideas!

FreeHugeMovies before building such software take a look at http://www.advancedsubmitter.com. This software can do almost all needed tuning for submiting to MGPs and has more features than any competive product.

-a full complete database
-auto fill fields (especially URL)
-an autosubmit option
-versatiliy in making recips
-a filter to weed out mpgs with rules that don't apply to your gallery
-multiple submit windows (saves tonnes of time when handsubmitting)

-would be happy to help beta test if you need it

I really don't see how an mpg submitter would need to be different than a tgp submitter anyway, except for the database. a good tgp submitter should have the ability to submit to mpgs.

Mikey,

All MGP submission forms are different. They ask for what type of movie file, running time lenght etc etc.

Its only a matter of a few different fields. The concept is the same, it is not radically different.

Alot of MGPs run AGP among other similar tgp scripts.

But if you want to make one don't let me discourage you.

mgpfeed.com

why fuss with messing with all sorts of mgp submission forms and using always-one-step-behind submitters when the mgp sites can just subscribe to a feed, and the submitters use one easy to use web form to fill in the stuff (it remembers your info too, you only submit each gallery's specific information.)

hit me up on icq if you'd like to talk about this. 45226474. it's in development right now, i'm piloting it on an MGP i am opening myself.

TGSW Updates has an MGP database for TGSW...that might be a great place to start your database ;)
