All you would need is a promo code on the referring site, and if the surfer pastes it into the membership application he gets money off or 5 days instead of 3 or something like that. It wouldn't matter if he'd eaten all his cookies then!

It occured to me that some web masters could be deleting cookies to give themselves a better change of picking up the money, does this happen?

Seriously, I looked at the adult industry because I've lost a lot of many recently and I don't like being poor. I need to run at a profit, and I didn't feel comfortable with not knowing how I was getting paid for my work and which bit was earning the money.

For me, the best idea would be the surfer giving the site owner a two part number. The first is my account number, the second is the page he got the number from. All he would have to do would be to pass this to the site owner to claim some prize, and the owner can log it to know how much to pay the introducer.

You could use it with email, tv advertising and other mail shots as well.

I'm trying to get more info on your situation so I can try and point you in the right direction. I think you would need a site to put banners, text links or trades on. But I maybe wrong. So throw some light on this and lets see what ideas we can come up with.

First of all, the paysite owners woudl not want to go thru the trouble of this since theyt are quite happy with the way tings ate going.

Secondly, when ppl are looking to make things as automated as possible you want surfers to remember codes and post them and all.. Its difficult enuff for us to get them to click a stupid link, let alone do anything more..

Totally agree with you, surfers hardly click on a good looking banner nowadays, the idea is good in principle but would not work in practice.

I'm interested in the net and the way it is being used, and some of the most sophisticated users are in the adult industry.

I don't work in a normal fashion, and I don't accept that, just because it has always been done that way, it's the best way. But I don't know much at the moment, which is why I keep posting strange ideas. I think I've got to try to do one site on my own, cock it up, and then work with people to try to make some money.


ps. Got a new partner now she's here on the couch, with an old spanish fan to cool herself down. Trouble is, it's not her face that she is cooling - I never realised that that was why it is called a fanny.

ultra160, it's good to think of new ideas and new things. Innovation is great. But after all these years, there are some things that have been tried, tested and work.

I think it would be a good start registering a domain, doing gallery submissions, trade links and build up some traffic. Preferrably a well designed site with something to make the surfers want to come back.

Then throw up some well positioned banners/text links relevant to your site/niche.

Trying to make money from siting on a couch without some web presence is sort of hard. You can't find out until you try, some of the best ideas come from failing and trying things.

Hes refering to ads for EE and other cleaners that say you will go to jail if you surf porn. Pretty stupid way to market on adult sites telling them what they are doing is illegal and pretty sad but its the only way to sell the shit.

I guess thats why people have stopped pushing these programs so much.

Well said Toker. Browser cleaning software try to scare the surfer into buying their software. I think they go over the line with their scare tactics and bad marketing lines.

For our USA friends - in the UK (and Australia, which I'm in), fanny=pussy
