Silly question from a newbie.

Why would girls wearing pantyhose ( which I assume is what we in England call tights!) belong in a Fetish site.
What will be the next fetish niche. Girls wearing jeans and tee-shirts?

That's the whole thing about Fetish - clothing, decor, where girls are. Believe it or not I have some content of girls just in jeans and those are popular (topless girls just wearing jeans and sneakers).

Fetish is just that - a particular interest in something seemingly small.

I understand that toxic. I think my comment was more of a social judgement. My understanding of fetish is that it is a minority interest, and surely most men enjoy looking at girls in stockings/tights. I would have thought it was more soft porn than fetish. (I know it depends on what they are doing in tights - wearing them over their heads could be a new girl next door fetish site for example).

Ultra - I gotta agree with you there that some of these fetishes are not really fetishes but fall under a softcore general category but for reasons of targeted marketing it's more or less practical to seperate out the traffic via categories.

Websters Dictionary defines a fetish as an object or bodily part whose real or fantasied presence is psychologically necessary for sexual gratification and that is an object of fixation to the extent that it may interfere with complete sexual expression.

So, pantyhose or anything else that isn't usually thought of in a sexual manner, would be a fetish if people are sexually arouse when they see, smell, feel or even think about whatever that object or bodily part may be.

pantyhose is a fetish. so are panties, shoes, feet. but you'd say 'pantyhose fetish' or 'foot fetish'. fetish is a general term. and yes, there is a big market for it.

Ok along the same lines is the subfetish categories. Do people who like pantyhose necessarily like feet? I'd like to know which fetishes people associate with other fetishes. Like feet, legs, ass? Stockings, bondage, trampling (uhh ouch)?

Ok and when I have an exhibitionist set and I want to promote it on TGP's (for an example) - and they don't have an exhibitionist category - would voyeur be the next best thing?

Here are some ideas for you.

Wet tights - worn in the shower perhaps
Sheer tights showing lots of black pubic hair. (my favourite).
Tights with a hole cut at a strategic point.
Torn tights - drunk girl at a party perhaps.
For gays - erect penis constrained by tights.

pantyhose people do not *usually* care about feet, but it is probably a good subniche and well worth promoting. the common pantyhose fetish is more about the pussy covered in tight sheer nylon.

voyeur could be okay for exhibitionist, but maybe even better to have a list of two kinds of tgp's - ones that have exhibitionist category or allow descriptions and ones that don't. at the ones that don't, you can post another category. just a thought ;-)

how about a high heel site? ALL pics of women in spike and high heels. or the one i really can't find - butts. beautiful women with long legs and beautiful asses. it's a major fetish, but no site has it - they always have to throw in anal, and that is not the same thing at all.

voyeur and exhibitionist are two different categories. voeyurs like to watch (not necessarily with consent), exhibitonists like to let people watch (with consent). it is a pain in the ass when tgps don't always have the necessary categories.

there are feet only tgps as well as high heel only tgps. the traffic converts alright. I promote feet sites and have decent results from both regular tgps and niche related tgps.

Basschick I think I'm going to take a bit of your advice and do more research regarding what really gets people off in these niches. I'll bet a little bit of homework and being a little bit more choosy about the content I buy will probably gain me more in the long run.

I think the only site that actually gets the leg fetish is LegWorld from Hustler. It's just long leggy girls - anal doesn't necessary play into the whole thing.

No, i disagree. There are alot of niche specific websites that rock and have partner programs. They deal only in that niche and generally don't have 15 other sites to promote.

If you are looking at a major sponsor having a niche website, they usually suck because they are just using the same content on their other sites with a different front end and maybe some different feeds and don't really understand the niche. But there are smaller websites that are only about the niche that convert terrific because they are built by and run by people that are into that niche. I have one panythose sponsor that has been recurring some members for over a year and a half.
