"No monthly charges"
"One off $39"

To me that sounds like $39 for lifetime access, but then your signup page says $39 per 90 days. If you divide $39 by about 3 then you end up with a monthly charge. ;)

Cheers.

Make profit with Xpics. Everytime you refer someone through your website and they sign up for Xpics, you recieve 3% commission!

Dont you think 3% is giving them to much..

iamxuan

sorry was that a sarcasm? maybe 3% is too little.
what about the general attraction for the public about my site? does anyone know a rough idea an adult site get customers each week?

Doesn't oxcash pay you 1% for your referers? .. atleast it tells me that when i login.. 1%..

You should try 50/50 if you want webmasters pushing your site. :)

iamxuan
08-11-2002, 06:16 PM
ok thanks for the adivce. i am new to the industry.
i have now pushed up to 40%, that should get some of you webmasters join? :p

shane
08-11-2002, 06:20 PM
its a little bit more competitive than that, try 60%, free hosting, and free content

Breaker

Maybe not 60% etc..

but atleast 50/50 and you take the processing costs.
some free content and nice banners.

:D

iamxuan

..or something completely different.
Not just another paysite, but something where webmasters can get EXTRA money.
It's hard to convince webmasters to join an affiliate program for a new site, if it's not exceptional... or have something new.

iamxuan

yeah, all the processing goes thourgh CCBill and they provide a control panel which has all the info about my banners, code etc.

Isn't it the webmasters just have to put the banners on their website? why would they need free hosting for?

AgentCash

They don't 'need' free hosting but they want it. The more incentives you offer for your affiliates they more affiliates you'll gain. Free content is a definite plus, free hosting is going to bring in a lot of cheaters, so it's all about balance. Maybe offer free hosting to the top 100 or 1000 affiliates to show your appreciation.

I dont get it, why no one thinks my site would stand a chance people joining? by the way i did mean join as in customers to pay to become members for porn. not webmasters join.

To be honest... there's nothing that intrest me.
Nothing special. Surfer has seen the same shit all over the web, yours SHOULD stand out from the crowd, but it doesn't.

basschick

first off, if you don't offer 50% or more, you're not in the running.

second off, your site is bland and generic. there is no real design. there is no sense of excitement and no theme. there is nothing special about it at all. for the same money, surfers can have a month membership at www.mikesapartment.com where ALL the content is exclusive and shot for the site. or a month in cybererotica where they have exclusive content and every plugin known to man - literally millions of pics.

third, xpics was THE biggest sponsor site in 1996 and 1997. now you know that you're stealing a copyrighted name, change yours. people will think better of you.

fourth, if you want to tempt surfers, you don't tell them you're charging them a mass of money to join. you brag about your trial price. otherwise get them excited BEFORE you tell them the cost - time enough to tell them on the join page.

pay a real adult designer if you want to make money. the cost isn't high considering the money you can make. but first, decide what is special about your site - why should a surfer pick your site instead of one of the thousands of other hardcore sites littering the internet?

good pice of advice there thanks!
i have done some searching on other sites. the pros are very well designed and looks stand out but there are site which is so lame even a basic web designer can do. but the thing is they also get high customers.
So i dont think it is a big deal on design. maybe the content and wordings.
take a look at this site http://www.partyteens.com
from what i know they have quite alot customers, but they are not one of those big massive flashy colorful adult site. can you see the 2 categories we have here in the adult industry?

basschick
08-12-2002, 10:51 AM
first off, what makes you think that they have lots of members? second, they have a niche and a theme - teens and schoolgirls.

you have no niche (you have a totally general - all categories site)and no theme. you just have some pictures sitting on a page.

do what you want. i've been in this biz full time for over 6 years and i would never promote your site. if i promoted a hardcore site, which i don't as they don't sell as well as a niche, i would promote one with MASSIVE content or exclusive content.
