I'm installing a BBS script with some odd colors (not really, but odd to see in a board), what do you think of it?

The board itself looks good. Users however, don't like such a high color contrast. It makes their eyes hurt. It makes reading even harder.

If the goal is to help people with information, try to make the contrast less. For example if u use text: If u use a white backround, then use black text, but with a little white in it (very, very dark grey). And vice versa. Your visitors will be greatfull :)

I agree with Martin, that green started hurting my eyes after just a few seconds. Try to coordinate the colors to match up in a more pleasing fashion.

That green is murder on the eyes after about 30 seconds.

If you want a contrasting color for the headings try something blue maybe...something pretty dark with the white text should be good.
