my advertising-success with thehun: none. --bandwith was not a problem (500 000 bannerviews/day) --i got around 1500-3000 clicks/day,but i couldn't sell it to the surfers. (i used 50% own sites,and 50% an sponsor,who was very good at this time,everyone had success with it) --at the end from the month i may have covered the costs...barely..(if i count the resulting rebills) ------------------- others have good success,otherwise they wouldn't advertise every month. it all depends;-)

I'm not sure. It's not as much as you think though. I overestimated (a lot of impressions are cached). I just don't like the thought of wasting server resources serving banners, that's all. I want it all to go to members (high download speeds).

It's $900. You can do what you want with it. It's your ad space, you've paid for it. No cp obviously, and don't use the word 'rape'. I got my sarah michelle gellar banner pulled for that (changed it to 'dogfucked'). If you're thinking of changing it, get it sent to a redirect url, and redirect from there. I think vertical banners get more clicks because they're nearer the free links (that's where the freeloaders hang out). Whether they convert better is another matter entirely. Don't bother unless you're pretty sure you can convert the traffic though. $900 is a lot of money.

His site get's just over a million unquies per day so he's not as big as the HUN but his traffic seems to convert and he's been around for 3 year. Here is another idea for the webmasters who had their index dirs listet and would like to take advantage of this redway prick and his loyal bandwidth sucking surfers.: Make two index dirs. One called "dialer" and one called "movies". Put 5 movie clips in the movie dir and five dialer exe in the dialer dir. When you have been listet at redway, simply delete the movie dir and rename your "dialer" dir to "movie". It isn't. Most of my content's illegal where I live (beast, scat, fisting, pissing etc.) I think even an image of an erect penis is illegal over here (or at least it was until recently).
